Food was AMAZING! The sauce was homemade and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and service was fantastic. The atmosphere is calming and has the feel of a fine dining establishment, but with a Mama’s kitchen comforting way about it. The patio was a nice touch. I highly recommend Don & Gigi’s, it was worth every bite.

We’ve been there now a couple times in person and we’ve ordered take out a couple times as well. The atmosphere is very nice and they have great staff. The owner usually greets you personally at some point and engages the customers which is amazing. The food is always pretty good as well. I have the Canova Pizza Last night.

Don & Gigi’s is a great local Italian spot with delicious food and amazing customer service. Gigi has always personally welcomed us each time we have visited as well as helped the wait staff with bringing out each table’s dishes. Friendly staff & reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! We were in town for a hockey tournament. On the drive up we ate in Little Italy in NYC and the North End. Don and Gigi’s was the best meal of our week! And Gigi was so friendly and welcoming. Do NOT miss eating here!

Went here for pickup and they made our pizza wrong twice. My wife just accepted it because she was sick of waiting. Many other customers were also getting wrong orders/waiting long times for food. With that said the food was pretty good. Good pizza and calamari and good portions. Maybe it was just “one of those days” and they were overwhelmed or not able to find enough dependable workers and understaffed, who knows. We’ll most likely still give it another shot with dine in because of the quality of food though so there is that. Service was also nice and polite and very apologetic about the issues which is good. I had never tried this restaurant before. I ordered a couple of pizzas for takeout. I was overcharged around $6 and the front desk staff was indifferent (as another reviewer mentioned). They argued with me about the overcharge before someone else stepped in, it took a while, but I was finally refunded and charged correctly. I was told it would only take 20 minutes for the food to be ready but sat there for 20 minutes because it actually took 40 minutes. It wasn’t at all busy (even though it was a Friday) and I placed the order at 4:10 PM. It definitely shouldn’t have taken 40 minutes to cook two pizzas with no toppings on them. I can’t imagine what the wait must be like for food when they are busy! The pizza was completely unimpressive. Overall, this was a terrible first impression.
