As an LA native – this joint hits the spot!
Delicious tacos, chilaquiles, quesadillas. We made a pit stop here on a road trip to Portland and were craving authentic Mexican. This place did not disappoint. They have a huge menu full of options for breakfast and lunch. Super friendly staff too and lots of salsas different spice levels and delicious chips too all at great prices. If we’re ever in Bend again, we’ll be coming back!

The food was amazing! I had a chicken enchilada combination with rice and beans. The chicken was in small pieces, very tender and juicy. The enchilada sauce had a great flavor. They have chips and a fresh salsa bar too. Very reasonable pricing and large portions! Big fan of the place.

Don Gabino’s comes highly regarded for good reason. The authentic Mexican fare is ample, delicious and priced right. We’ve dined here twice and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s an austere, but clean, dining area. The one thing you’ll notice is the steady stream of regulars and door dash folks coming and going, indicating Don Gabino’s is well known and loved in Bend. We love it, too.

I don’t know how anyone could say the portion sizes are small, for the price or otherwise. Huge burrito, very filling and flavorful.
From the time I placed the order to the time I was back to my place eating it was under 10 minutes.
Staff was pleasant in the short interaction while I was picking up the order.
Solid joint, I’d love to come back next time I’m in Bend.

I got the breakfast burrito. It was absolutely delicious. So much flavor. Huge portion. Only $9 for the burrito. Great value. And they have a salsa bar. Highly recommend and will be back!

Online ordered a California burrito for pickup. Their Cali burrito doesn’t come with guac, which for someone who lived in San Diego is blasphemy for a Cali burrito. So I paid an extra $3.50 for that and sour cream in my burrito, but was disappointed to find neither in my burrito when I got home. I submitted an online complaint through whatever system they use for online orders, but never heard back.
The burrito was pretty good overall, but the lack of basic ingredients in a burrito, having to pay extra for it and then not getting it, has me thinking this place is just mid.

Ordered here for the first time for pickup, and it was ready in just over 10 minutes! Great tasting tacos and burritos, albeit a bit smaller in portion size for the price. The quality of ingredients made up for it though! Will definitely be returning

The pictures kind of speak for themselves. This place was delicious and affordable. Which says something because Bend has become a bigger Sunriver (for non Oregonians that means expensive) thank you Californians.
If you’ve been to a Mexican place like this, you expect the service you receive. They’re nice, but their main concern isn’t customer service. It is to get you some good food quickly. Which I appreciate, they’re busting their butts in the back. They also had decent Horchata which is impossible to find in this state.
