I’ve been to Don Chicken several times now, and it never disappoints. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the flavors are always spot-on. I always order the rose tteokbokki too—it never gets old. The place is clean and cozy, and the staff are super friendly, which makes every visit a pleasure. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

I’ve known about this place for about two years since moving to the area — it’s only six minutes from my home. By pure chance, I missed my NJT stop the other night and ended up getting off at River Edge, which isn’t far from where I should’ve been. It was warm out, I didn’t mind the walk, and I figured this was finally the perfect moment to try Don’s.
I ordered a small crispy chicken with a side of hot/spicy sauce. Walked the remaining 15 minutes home, ready to finally see what the hype was about.
The chicken was crispy, but the flavor just wasn’t there. The dipping sauce tasted like something I could’ve mixed myself with the BBQ and hot sauce I already have at home — definitely not worth the extra $2. Overall, the food was mediocre, but it was late and I was hungry, so I kept going.
Then, right as I was about to take another bite, I caught something in the reflection off the TV. At first I thought it was a thread — which still wouldn’t have been okay — but when I pulled it out, it was a long 10–12 inch strand of hair. That was it for me. Total disgust. I threw the rest of the wings away immediately.
This first visit, by chance, will also be my last. What a shame.

The chicken here is incredible—super crisp, fresh, and cooked perfectly every time. The sauces are next-level good (seriously, I wanted to take a bottle home), and the owners are some of the kindest people you’ll meet.
I’m attaching a photo but honestly… it doesn’t do the food justice. I was too busy devouring the chicken to take a decent shot

This is me and my family’s go to fried chicken place, their spicy soy garlic is my personal favorite and my non-spicy fam members love the regular soy garlic chicken. The drumsticks are huuuuuge! So don’t get disappointed by the less number of drumsticks than the wings order. Oh and I would like to include that their fries are so good! Perfectly crispy on the outside but mush in the inside with the right amount of seasoning. Definitely recommend going here. They also have a large selection of ramens that you can make by yourself as they have self serving stations inside the restaurant.

We order from here all the time for family gatherings and they never disappoint. Definitely one of the better chicken spots in Bergen county. On Super Bowl Sunday they were unfortunately overwhelmed and I ended up deciding not to wait around for my order. When I contacted them the next day, they went out of their way to make things right for me, which I definitely appreciated. Will definitely be back to support our local chicken joint!

I put in a take out order for Galbi wings thru their website. Upon arriving at the store, I saw parking spots available right in front of the store. Right in front of the entrance they have the register counter. On the left is the dining area. Loved the dining area, specially the beautiful decoration with instant noodles on the wall.
My order was ready per the estimated time given. The associate handed me the wings and I was on my way. The wings were delicious. They were big, moist inside and had perfect crispy layer mixed with the Galbi sauce. Will be getting more wings from them for sure.

Tried Korean Fried Chicken for the first time, and wow it did not disappoint! Super crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that sticky, spicy sauce? Absolute game changer. Every bite was loaded with flavor. We had it with coleslaw, pork dumplings, onion rings, and fries the perfect combo. Washed it all down with a cold drink. So good, we’re already planning round two.

Absolutely amazing! Don Chicken never disappoints. The chicken was incredibly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. They even have a Korean Ramyun maker inside the store, which is such a fun touch. Fried chicken, Ddokbokki, and Ramyun make the perfect combination for a great meal. The food came out hot and fresh, and every bite was delicious.
The new owner couple is very friendly and always greets customers with a warm smile. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is fast. Definitely one of the best Korean fried chicken spots around. Highly recommended!

Place was good. They set you up with pickled radishes and some cabbage covered with a sauce. Next you get your napkins and a plastic glove so you aren’t covered in sauce. Nice touch. Chicken wings were good. Did spicy and sweet and spicy wings. Have to say they were hot indeed lol. Cleared my cold right up. Also got the cheese fries. They were different as they use like a powder dusting over them. Overall food was good and place was nice. I’ll be back.
