The past reviews do not really apply to this brasserie since management has changed in the last 2 months. Our server, Jim, was charming, helpful and attentive with a great smile and good sense of humor. Our food was delicious. We started with soup d’jour which was carrot and broccoli which was light and scrumptious and escargot still in the shell. Fun to get them out and what a reward. Tools matter – just saying. For entre’ I had the Chicken Schnitzel and my wife had the rib eye. Both were awesome. Add to that great services and a clear view of Grand Place and you have a formula for success.

I don’t know why the score is so low for this restaurant and pubs?
We are stopped here right after lunch to get a cup of coffee and a beer. But we just can’t resisted to orders Belgian waffle.
And no regrets that we just ate our lunch, the waffle was delicious. And beer is cold and coffee is hot and good!
If you need to seat for a while or relax for the day, I highly suggest you take a seat here and order a beer or something, you would enjoy it！

Fab place, in the heart of the square. The outdoor seating is lush, great beer selection, fab food (have to try the moules, absolutely delicious!) and finally the service was ace! Greg you’ve been amazing!! Worth the visit and every penny!

We stopped here a couple of times for drinks and cheese and had great times each time we came!
We found the staff really friendly with us. They made a fuss of our girls and gave them really lovely hot chocolates, the girls were very happy!
My partner had some white wine and said it was delicious. She said the selection of cheese was tasty and went nicely with the wine. I went for the large stien of beer and loved every drop!
They have a good selection of wines and beers, and given you’re in the middle of grand place, the prices aren’t that bad!
It’s worth noting that the toilets are down a small spiral staircase that is quite narrow.
They have a load of seating out front too, and it’s really nice to sit out there to watch the Christmas lights of grand place and to soak up the atmosphere of being in the square, too.
Well worth coming here if you’re in the area.

Enjoyed the food, the service, and atmosphere here. This restaurant made us feel welcomed and at ease. Nothing was rushed.
The food was fantastic. While we elected to be seated indoors, the outdoor seating was very popular on this particularly lovely evening.

I wouldn’t call this place bad per say, but it doesn’t do anything good. I came to eat dinner and the only thing I found decent was calamari. The ribs themselves proved difficult to chew. The meatballs were bland. The cheese sandwich didn’t have any problems but it did nothing good. If you are in the area I am certain there are so many better places to eat at. Only thing I can give credit for is the beautiful view.

We had Belgian waffles and tea last Sunday here with friends. We enjoyed the view while chatting over waffles. There were performances in front of the Grand Palace so we barely recalled whether the food was great. The price of the tea and waffles were okay considering the location.

We didn’t eat here but if you are looking for a nice atmosphere to grab a drink, we thoroughly enjoyed. We are also American so maybe our expectations are low based on the other reviews 😉 either way… the staff, location and ambiance on both visits were lovely and beers were great!
