1000/10! The tacos here are deliciosos. The staff is super friendly. I can’t wait to come back. Next time i’ll buy a mexican soda which I forgot to buy and felt bad to make an extra charge so i’ll get it next time.

Very friendly location for a meal. Really like how clean the restaurant is. The doorway is wide enough for a wheelchair. Paid parking so expect to use a couple quarters. Was recommended by a friend of mine so I hope you enjoy a meal here like we did.

I read a review for this little place and didn’t feel like cooking for the crew tonight- so I ordered a feast “to go” thinking there would be leftovers- two little sauce packets were all that was left, after hiking, bowling and soccer games the family demolished everything in the to go containers-and there was a lot-very tasty, very nice staff-metered parking right on Main Street right outside the restaurant, affordable dinner for a family our size on the run- we will be back, thank you!

Second visit back for lunch – chicken tacos just as good as the first visit!

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. We live an hour away and drive to Chambersburg to enjoy the delicious food. The enchiladas are amazing, as well as their con carne nachos.

Some of the reviewers have noted you don’t get consistent service, but I haven’t found that to be true. You do need to be clear about what you’re ordering, but each time I’ve been there I haven’t had any issues.

If you’re looking for an amazing authentic tacos, look nowhere else! Don Checkos have the best tacos Al Pastor in all Chambersburg and nearby towns. The price is great, too! I typically order up front, pay and sit at a table, if dining in.

We got three special tacos each (el pastor, pollo and asada), they were soo good and filling. The red hot sauce on the table was insanely good. Definitely come here!!

Our carnitas sopecitos and Al pastor tostadas were better than they had any right to be. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the sopes were soft and amazing. They also had watermelon Jaritos and fresh horchata! We’ll definitely be going back soon!

O MY GOD this was freakin AWESOME. Never before have I not been able to eat two tacos and 2 sopapillos. Trust me. There was a lot of food. The Chorizo is really flavorful and not as greasy as most places.

The sopapillos were out of this world and if they don’t make their own corn tortillas you could have fooled me.

The churiqueso was downright heavenly. Skip the chips or tortillas and just eat it like a soup.

You’re not going to find a better lunch or dinner spot for Mexican. Especially for the price.
