We come here often and the service is always great! However, not sure we’ll be coming back anytime soon. The food is usually 50/50, sometimes it comes out barely warm or cold. Never hot. The side dishes like the baked potato, charro beans, and even fries are almost always cold. Chicken is tasty but comes out cold, we’ve even tried the wings and they were good the first time but I’m sure they’re frozen prior to cooking, sometimes they’re falling apart because they probably got stuck together when they were frozen. Although the service is pretty good, quality of the food has definitely gone down over the years.

The dining experience provided adequate cuisine with satisfactory service overall. Unfortunately, the establishment’s cleanliness was lacking. Eventually, this detracted from the overall ambiance, creating a less ideal environment. On the end, Don Carbon is an alright place to grab a meal.

Bought this chicken sandwich for lunch, worst sandwich I ever had. I took one bite and bit into a piece of bone. The nasty sauce was all over the soggy bread (see picture). Not only was it horrible but I payed close to $12 for just the sandwich. I ended up throwing it away. I do not recommend, thumbs down!

This location is absolutely incredible, they really know their stuff, whether it comes to what to order off the menu to hit the spot, or if you need a guide on some local spots if you’re visiting the area. If you get the chance to talk with Saul or Crystal, then you’ll have a blessed experience, but the whole staff is awesome.

Got the Fit Bowl….expensive for serving size. Not much quinoa and chicken kind of bland. Other meals looked good so will try something different next time.

Been a customer of Don Carbon for a while, and it’s good. However, this isn’t fine dinning. This restaurant increased prices dramatically! What use to cost $9.47 (3 piece combo) is now $14.47. Compare the menu and everything is way more expensive. I know what everyone is thinking, inflation, sorry no, they already raised prices once citing inflation. While inflation accounts for most increases, this is in the realm of price gauging. I enjoyed this place for a quick meal for me and the family but I won’t be going back. They are taking advantage now. A meal for me and my wife was $50 dollars!!! Two meals and a side, and my wife got the fajitas ($18), no drink. Unsustainable, unjustified, and not worth that price point. Sorry but I would spend my money elsewhere if I were you. There are better options out there that are not this expensive.

Update 3/15/25- used to come here every week for take out. However, the prices have doubled and I don’t think it’s reasonable to charge almost $20 for chicken fajitas, plus tax, plus tip for take out. Food is good, service is average as many times the staff makes faces, and talks between themselves vs paying attention to the customer. Hope you somehow figure out your pricing!!!

Last time I ate there I saw the manager handling the chicken with no gloves on. Absolutely disgusting! Never eating there again.
