Two lovely signoras serving up authentic, tasty, heart and tummy-warming dishes. Generous antipasti with quality bread, followed by perfectly cooked pastas. Orichettie with nduja pomodoro had the al dente bite you want in your pasta, a light background heat and adorned with creamy melted taleggio cheese. The spinach and ricotta cannelloni was piping hot and cheeeeeeesy, just like you’d get from nonna. Dessert rounded out with a proper lemon cake, cannoli a Sicilian would be proud of and of course – tiramisu with all its layers of marscapone & coffee. If you love Italian food, this place is a must. Simple. Homely. Delicious.

A local gem with an enthusiastic manager and very friendly staff. Nice daily specials from chef’s recommendation and great wine. Even routine Italian dishes are always delicious with their fresh ingredients. Very reasonable price and quality service you get from them. Desserts are amazing too.

What a fantastic find. We were visiting Manchester for the weekend and came across Domus Italia when looking for a meal to enjoy for the evening. We’re Italian food fanatics so we were hoping for good food and we were not disappointed. We had recently visited Italy for our honeymoon and it felt like we had gone back. The food was sensational; fantastic flavours and all cooked fresh to order. We couldn’t fault the place. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to try this place. You won’t regret it.

Ive been here a couple of times now and really impressed with the food. Real italian food, great taste and fair price. Ive only had a couple of plates but loved both. My friends today loved it too. And coffee is proper coffee too. Will be back soon and recommend here for anyone in the area.

It is a rare Italian restaurant in the UK where you can eat Italian food with Italian flavor. The food portions are generous and the taste is very Italian. The service is friendly and the quality of the food is also very high. The overall value for money is very good. It is an Italian restaurant worth visiting.

Went in the afternoon, (after eating here previously, in the evening, which was delicious). Food was obviously frozen and reheated. Watery at bottom of dish. Not enough seasoning. Felt conned. Reheated food ! Won’t be going back at anytime. Also, I will be telling others of my experience. Sad

The food and wine here is spot on. Came for dinner on Thursday night. We had the bread the dips, some pasta, some cake and coffee. Everything tasted really good. I had one on the pasta of the day and my partner and aubergine one. The staff were pretty good.
The only negative thing is the fact it’s inside a grocery store and the space feels a bit weird, dunno maybe the lighting could be adjusted.

Beautiful little Italian restaurant, such a nice place. Service was great, we got seated straight away, looks like they have a shop during the day selling all kinds of Italian bits. The food was absolutely incredible, we had a cheese starter and it was beautiful, so amazing. I also recommend the pasta dishes, so much flavour and such good quality. Definitely recommend a visit!
