We pre-booked our table based on the online menu. The venue was lovely inside and the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive (Lee, Millie, Nano and Monic).
On the online menu they had the starter of Gemberoni All’aglio for £10.40.
Checking our receipt this morning we were charged £11.90?
They also had Penne Arrabbiata for £12.20. We asked if we could have this with chicken and the lovely staff said yes or with pepperoni or even both. We both selected to have both. We expected there to be an extra charge for this but looking at the receipt we we charged an extra £8.71 each which we feel on reflection was a little extreme as there wasn’t actually that much chicken (or pepperoni) added.
We both ordered starters, I had the chicken wings which were on the specials and they were lovely and the portion size great. My wife had the Gemberoni All’aglio (mentioned above) and there was hardly any prawns so not such a great portion size.

We went to this venue for a late lunch. Very nice atmosphere, and beautiful service. The food was very nice, we had a beautiful garlic bread with cheese and some prawns, and for mains we had carbonara which was delicious and I had one of the specials of the day, if I’m not mistaken, the ravioli aragosta, which I think it could have more lobster filling. But overall it was nice.

Went for dinner here and although we did enjoy it and had a good time sadly there were some small shortcomings. The mains were good, we both got pasta which both had flavour and were properly prepared. However we also got a side salad which was just cheap tomato and onion for £6 and we had arancini as a starter which had definitely just been microwaved. On top of that they had about 3-4 songs on repeat the whole nightwhich drove me a bit crazy. Saying this the service was really nice and the decor was so beautiful. Just wish the food was a bit better.

I remember this venue fondly as Knott bar when I used to live nearby so I was curious to try the new Italian that now occupies this space.
Well I’m glad I did, the menu was pretty impressive but I didn’t even consider anything else once I saw the specials, the croquettes were delicious and the tagliatelle with pesto sauce and spicy sausage had my mouth watering.
I normally skip dessert but so glad I didn’t, my limoncello gelato was so yummy and my date’s tiramisu was equally as good.
The decor is really pretty, and the staff were very attentive and friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Give this place a try, I’ll be going back to try their wood fired pizzas.

My mother and I are Italian, so naturally we care a lot about that warm sense of Italian hospitality and we were genuinely touched to find it here in Manchester. We stopped in for a cup of coffee and were delighted to discover a truly excellent espresso, the kind that instantly makes you feel at home. But what made our visit great was the extraordinary kindness of the waiter, whose name, unfortunately, we didn’t catch. We asked him for some information about Manchester, and his gentle, elegant manner was absolutely disarming. Kindness like that has become rare, and his sincere warmth made a remarkable impression on us. His attitude alone would make us come back. The Italian music in the background brought an extra smile to our faces. Not only because we’re Italian, but because it creates a genuinely lovely and welcoming atmosphere for anyone who steps inside. Highly recommended!

We were seated quickly in a lovely spot by the open door overlooking lovely bits of Manchester. Our waiters were Lee and Harvey and stopped at nothing to insure we had a great night. The wine was amazing as was the expansive menu- the food came quickly, presented beautifully and tasted even better. The people, the decor, the food, all was amazing and would highly recommend visiting. The owner came down and spoke to our table directly when discussing how the food was sourced and prepared. Amazing experience and service. 10/10

The atmosphere was so nice especially for a date. Our waiter, Nano, was incredible. He made sure everything was brought to the table as soon as it was ready. He helped me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday by putting candles on his dessert and singing and playing happy birthday song. He literally went above and beyond to make our time there memorable. The food was fabulous. I ordered a starter and a Spaghetti Napoli but starter size (smaller size) and it was so filling. The pasta and the sauce was so fresh and the taste was heavenly. I also had the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, recommended by the lovely Nano, and it was the perfect end to the perfect meal. It was slightly expensive but for the quality and the service, it was worth it. 10/10 would recommend. We went there during the week for lunch so we were shown to a table immediately. But I could imagine it being busy during the weekend so i suggest booking beforehand.
