I go to Domoishi often and have never had an issue before, which is why this was so disappointing. I will say I didn’t open it in store, that was a rookie mistake, I was just rushing. Also, I did mix up the curry and rice a little, as I didn’t expect to be making a review or being disappointed in my meal.
I ordered the new beef curry bowl ($16.95) and a boba, and paid $27 total. Not only did the bowl have eggs and cucumbers on top, which was fine, just not included in the description. The bowl was intentionally portioned with the rice on one side and the curry on the other, but it ended up being about 3/4 rice and only 1/4 curry, with very little broth and only a few bites of beef, mostly potatoes, and barely any carrots and I didn’t taste a hint of onion.
The rice wasn’t even discolored by sauce, which shows how little curry was actually in the bowl. When I called, I was told this is their “normal portion,” which is honestly shocking for the price.
The staff member I spoke to was kind, but the portion itself is not acceptable for what’s being charged. I won’t order this dish again, and you shouldn’t waste your time ordering this beyond mid curry and mostly rice. I hope management reconsiders the portion balance.

Ramen is better than the one you cook at home, but not better than the Noodle Man in my opinion. But if you like ramen like me, this is the Subway version, select what you want, they cook it. Noodles taste like the ones in the pack tho, all the other stuff that comes with it makes it taste better.

I stopped by Domoishi on a Monday evening for dinner and was blown away. The menu has an amazing selection of Poké bowls, ramen, appetizers, and boba tea, so there’s truly something for everyone.
What really sets this place apart is the heart behind it. The shop is run by two absolutely wonderful people who clearly love what they do. Their kids were running around the restaurant helping out and just being kids, which gave the whole place such a welcoming, family owned feel.
I ordered the Poké bowl with ahi tuna and karaage chicken, and it was hands down one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had in my life. The tuna was incredibly fresh, and the chicken was cooked to absolute perfection, crispy, juicy, and full of flavor.
If you’re even remotely considering trying Domoishi, do it. I can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be back.

Highly recommend this spot for poke bowls and korean fried chicken! I always stop by when I am in the area. The poke bowls are very fresh and filling. The korean fried chicken is crispy and flavorful. I recently tried the chicken karaage and was impressed with the crispiness. They also have great milk and fruit teas!
Service is always quick!

Everything was delicious EXCEPT the bulgogi boa buns. The beef wasn’t seared enough so the fat made it hard to chew. The spicy soy garlic chicken was the best thing we had. Loved the milk tea as well. My daughter enjoyed her poke bowl. It was a very generous portion size. She wasn’t able to finish it. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. We will definitely return and try more things on the menu.

Great poke bowls. Basically everything was awesome. The only problem with this place is the Starbucks traffic makes it hard to enter and leave the parking spaces. Park on the far side and walk the extra couple feet to avoid getting trapped by the Starbucks crowd.

Poke bowl was really good! Wish the shrimp was large fresh shrimp cut up instead of those mini bland ones though.

So the food is great if your looking for something that’s good but not crazy expensive that’s Asian this place is a very good middle ground. So I had a curry bowl and it was great the size of it was huge like 3 people could have ate on that . Imy only con would be it was a bit high on price for my expectations but I’ll def be going again.

Poke bowl: Tofu as $2.50 extra is ridiculous, it’s soft tofu which is mostly water and you can get a whole pound block of tofu for that price in stores. Tip: order the $9.95 vegetarian bowl with extra free edamame for protein boost.
