Went for a quick boba drink – pretty good but didn’t blow me away. The service was great! The shop was also nice and clean. It was a good place to spot for a quick snack, but wish I could have tried the meals too.

I requested jasmine rice instead of sushi rice for the poke bowls, as well as extra garnish. Fresh food, good portions and delicious. My kids liked their food and my poke bowl was just the way I requested. Clean restaurant, fast and friendly service.

I can’t say how disappointed I was to spend so much on a dinner and have an expectation to have it crushed so heavily. This was my first experience at any Damoishi and will probably be my last. The poke bowls were pretty good but drowned in so much yum yum sauce it was nauseating. The boba tea was ok but not great. The wings were pretty good and would be my recommendation. The saddest part was the service, there was none. You order from a kiosk up front and whenever we tried to ask a question then the cashier just kept looking at her phone. I am not new to poke bowls or boba tea and love both a lot but the system of ordering and lack of communication here just made it very uncomfortable and disappointing. There’s a Jersey Mike’s next door, I would recommend you try them.

Like sushi deconstructed, a Poke bowl is an excellent summer meal. With their wide variety of proteins, add ins, toppings, and sauces, you can create a different meal every day.
The staff both welcomed me upon entry and thanked my for my order. I ordered and paid on a device a good distance from the food prep area. The service was super fast. I think I was in and out in 5 minutes.
Every item I chose was fresh and flavorful. Mine was prepared chop salad style with items clumped. Eat them separately or stir to blend. For me, the bowl portion is so generous, I get 2-3 meals from each. Quite a value!
The eel sauce and citrus dressing I have tried so far are on the sweet side. A family member introduced me to this great meal option. What a great find!

Overall the food wasn’t great, but it certainly wasn’t bad either. The tea I ordered didn’t look like the pictures at all, but it did taste very good. I was disappointed with the ramen noodles that seemed to be overcooked. Broth was good, chicken was dry l. I was impressed with the way they packed it all together. Overall I thought it was overpriced for what it was. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere.

Onion rings looked like onion tempura in the picture, I wind up with what looks like low tier frozen onion rings, chicken in my ramen bowl wasn’t cooked well, odd texture, the whole ramen bowl was bland, chinese doughnuts were burnt, overcooked. The Shrimp tempura and smoothie were fine. Asked to mix my smoothie, received a flat refusal. There are better Domoishi’s.

Got the Japanese fried chicken and Korean spicy soy garlic wings. I was expecting like a drum and a thigh or something for the Japanese fried chicken but instead I got like chicken nugget bites. They were good either way, there’s definitely some flavor in the breading and the sweet sauce they give you pairs well. Overall I’d give it a 7.8/10. The wings remind me of Bonchon wings. The spice was there. They were some pretty crunchy and flavorful wings, I’d give them an 8.5/10.

This was hands down one of my favorite food experiences EVER! I’m so happy I chose this place. I saw that one is opening in Chesapeake, and I wanted to try it so much that we made the extra bit of driving to try it.

My husband and I both got the poke bowls, along with a mango smoothie with amber boba and a miso soup to share. Everything tasted absolutely amazing and left me feeling extremely happy and satisfied.

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful options you have on your menu and for creating them so beautifully. We definitely will be coming back.

Yesterday, my angelic husband gifted me with another meal this time from Domoishi in the Kempsville section of Virginia Beach via grubhub. The delicious food he bought for me was the soy garlic wings, passionfruit green tea, Poke bowl pick 3 which consisted of extra salmon cooked shrimp avocado green onion Japanese ginger mango red onion brown rice citrus mango sweet garlic soy fried onions garlic crisp roasted seaweed nori sesame. My food was delivered in a prompt timeframe and all I had to do was pay for the money tip.

Good ramen, but the broth a little bit on the thin side. Still tasted good, but I guess I’m just used to a bit thicker sauce. Poke bowl is great. Bubble teas were not as cold as expected, but they still tasted good. Service is great and fast. Price-wise, a bit up there but it’s worth it; less than $20 for a drink and a bowl of ramen or poke.
