I would give just about anything to experience my first bite of Centiole’s Sweet Sauce pizza again. Pizza so treasured that we had to order days ahead and hope we called in time to make the list. Stand in the snow covered alley, wait your turn to go to the back door and give your name at your assigned time slot. Fingertips burn, from beneath the box now steaming at its seams, in the icy night air. Once back in car, the intoxicating aroma is far too intense to not open the coveted treat. The cheese still bubbling warns you to wait, yet …you cannot. You succumb to the sweet herbed lava dripping, broiled cheese square that has fogged up your windows, allowing the ravenous devour about to take place, unseen. Yeah, so it was something like that. I live in Maine now and wish I could open a shop to share this coal region delicacy, but I can never find a recipe even close to their’s. This pizza is an experience, a core memory, an American dream and I miss it more than I probably should.

Disgusting. Straight in the trash. How is this so popular? Every frozen pizza I’ve ever had in my life is better than this. For starters, the sauce is gross “sweet” sauce, which totally ruins it beyond any saving. Not even the cheese is any good. It might happen once a year that food is so bad that I will waste it and throw it away, and this is that once a year. I would much rather have Tostinos $1.50 frozen pizza.

Best pizza ever. It is take out only. And you will keep coming back again and again. Order in advance as they only make so many pizzas per day and you don’t want to get shut out.

Just tried my first pie from Centioles. It’s one of the best pizzas in Schuylkill County. Do yourself a favor and pick up a 14″ square pie with extra cheese. Don’t forget the hot sauce, also very good!!

We had ordered a large plain pizza. It cost $16. It was really good. And the guy who what’s cooking the pizza and everything. Was very nice. And a great personality. I would visit them again. They do get very busy especially on the weekends that still give you a time to come pick up your stuff instead of you getting to pick a time. You do sometimes have to wait longer than the time you say depending on how busy they are. I do recommend them to at least try once.
