Really great place! No wait to be seated. Friendly and attentive staff. Good, fresh food. Sushi made to order. Affordable pricing but premium options available as well. Will definitely be back after I tell everyone I know about this place!

I’ve not had a lot of Sushi but, based on my experience here which has set the bar to a brand new level. The Sushi here was absolutely amazing The scenery was calm and nice. The service was top notch I loved every second of my time there.if the people who cook or served the food read this thank you so much for such an enlightening experience. It definitely changed the way I looked at Sushi. I learned a very important lesson never ever go cheap on sushi.

Got hibachi, we always get the chicken and steak, prices have gone up since we started coming here so for 2 adults with s&c, you’re looking at around 75-100$. I got the shrimp tempura, and it was cold, and tasted like it was yesterdays. No crunch to the tempura whatsoever.i asked if they namenit per order or one huge batch and then use cold and the lady looked very confused. Ice cold shrimp, soggy breading, not a good mixture. Ive never had an issue with the tempura. Dinner was excellent of course.
Recommend 10/10

They were really quick for refills, made sure that if we needed any sauces we had them.
So I’ve read some of the not so good reviews about how this place is really dark and dingy, when you first walk in lights are on you can see what you’re doing you can see everybody there’s a bar to your right and there’s Booth seating for non hibachi. When you walk through the doors you’re right at the desk to check in. If you look straight you can see the Hibachi room. This is a darker room so it can be more intimate. With the whole fire going on the grill, keeping it dim in the room gives it a “wow” factor and to set the mood. Its not so dark you cant see, its just not as bright. If it’s a bright room and you’re having all of these fire tricks going on it’s not a big wow factor.
I’ve never had a metallic taste happen in this restaurant, nothing is wrapped in tinfoil, and I’ve been coming here since I moved here in 2010.
What’s funny is some of the pictures that have been posted Domo has never had those plates. I don’t think I’ve ever had grapes and an orange on my plate, ever. I really feel like a couple people got the wrong restaurant. Idk. It’s not like Domo has moved from one location to another, it’s been in the same location since I moved here, by ken nunns law firm.
Now you can sometimes get overcooked food here if the chef is overworked, but as long as you talk to them and tell them that it is overcooked they’ll remake it for you. Or they’ll take it off your check. Everyone here is easy going even on a super busy day. I’ve never had attitude from anybody. Also they don’t use a bunch of sauce to coat your food with flavor. A lot of other places will just load it up with teriyaki sauce and the other sauce that I can’t think of the name of but the reason why they do that is because the food isn’t fresh here the food is fresh. They use fresh ingredients.
Now I have had experiences where my plate has been salty before because of new chefs. That happens. You got to tell them though they don’t know if you don’t tell them. They’re not going to make you pay for something you don’t like. I have a preference when I go here, I don’t like going for the younger guys because in my opinion they haven’t had the experience that the older guys have had cooking for domo. You can request a certain Chef to cook for you. If you don’t know their names but you remember what your chef from last time looks like and you don’t like him you just got to describe them and they’ll work with you.
Salad: so you can have ginger sauce or the yum yum sauce on your salad but both of the sauces are delicious and they’re made fresh. The ginger sauce is a freshly made Ginger sauce so it has chunks of real ginger in it. If you don’t want either of those they have Ranch. I’ve never had an issue with the salad here. The rice has never been hard here even if you get fried rice, it’s super soft and sticky. The miso soup is phenomenal. I’m not a big fan of tofu chunks so this is the perfect miso for me. I have had other Sushi from here, the Philadelphia roll was delicious even though I’m not a raw sushi fan I like my Sushi cooked LOL. The Lion King was beautiful, there’s a couple other specialty Sushi items that they do that are plated super beautifully and taste amazing. Today was just a fluke with their shrimp tempura unfortunately.
Everything is cut in front of you so if you don’t think that your chicken is correctly colored you can see it and you can tell them. Again if you don’t like something TALK TO THEM. They dont bite.

It is the best Hibachi place in America. Their vegetable is so fresh and the servings are a lot. We enjoyed the Hibachi grill. The food was delicious and the chef made it fun to watch him cook. Also, their sushi is also great! I love the vibe too

Food is great but service isn’t the greatest. They always just shut their phones off and never publicize if they actually accept your order. I drove 30 minutes after getting a confirmation my order was to be ready in 30 minutes and I show up and they said they didn’t accept my order. Again, their phone thy decided to shut off and online status appears available everywhere. Just very misleading!

??????? I usually don’t like being negative about restaurant reviews, but this is my review of the time I went, which was tonight. 1st time there with my family and I got the earliest impression that this was not going to be good. ..our server seemed snippy if we had a reservation. We said no… from there, it went downhill. Our server didn’t follow up to see if we needed refills nor asked if we needed anything else. We got to go boxes before our meal was done. I looked around the room, and nobody else got that same experience. I won’t be back again, that is for dam sure.

My boyfriend and I had a staycation this past weekend and this was one of the places we are at. I ordered the shrimp w/veggies and fried rice. My boyfriend ordered swordfish w/veggies and fried rice. For appetizers I ordered the dumplings and my boyfriend ordered the spicy shrimp. Both were really good. The atmosphere was nice and the hibachi chef put on a good show and he had great skills.
