⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend

My mother and I recently visited Warrensburg and discovered the charming Cafe Du Burg, and what a wonderful find it was. We stopped in for lunch, and from the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed by a clean, friendly, and inviting environment.

The café feels like a miniature art gallery, featuring beautiful artwork from local artists displayed along the walls, along with quaint seating areas that create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the space truly adds to the overall experience.

Both the service and the food were amazing, fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with care. We also had the pleasure of visiting with one of the owners and learning about their incredible mission, which made our visit even more meaningful. I especially love that they are committed to sourcing their goods locally, making it easy to support a business that truly values its community.

Everything about Cafe Du Burg from the food to the atmosphere to the people behind it made our visit special. We are anxious to visit again soon. I highly recommend this café to anyone visiting or living in Warrensburg. Downtown Warrensburg has a lot to offer and Cafe Du Burg is a great addition. We could have spent our entire day there relaxing and visiting .

PS. The breakfast potatoes and organic ketchup are a must!

If you want authentic local Italian inspired coffee, this is the place you want to be. It’s quiet, beautiful and so welcoming. When I know I need a relaxing morning or afternoon I spend it here. The prices are so good and the staff is so kind. The food always tastes like it came from someone’s home kitchen and is beautifully plated. From the time you walk in to the time you leave you enjoy being here. Keep up the vibes guys <3

Highly recommend this cafe. The food was terrific. They make more traditional craft coffee drinks and do a fine job with it. The staff was very friendly, warm, and provided a great overall experience. It was quiet and clean with a positive stereotypical “best coffee shop in town” feel. I had lunch there and was delighted with the Le Merci croissant sandwich.

As a small business owner myself, I love supporting local spots—and this coffee shop is one of my favorites! The staff is always incredibly friendly and go out of their way to accommodate my dairy and gluten allergies, which I really appreciate. It’s also a great place to have a networking meeting or just relax with a cup of coffee. **PLUS** they’re dog friendly & my Doberman absolutely loves their peanut butter pup cups—he knows exactly where we’re headed as soon as we get close! A true gem for both people and pups.

Came here with my husband and son. I Had the Cajun breakfast bowl and caramel iced coffee and they were both amazing! My husband says the Cinnamon roll and Cajun bowl he had were both delicious. And my son loves the Cinnamon rolls and bacon as well! This is my new favorite spot for breakfast and coffee, Definitely worth the drive from Lexington!

If you’re a chai latte lover, this stop is a must! Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the drinks are creative and delicious. Their seasonal flavors are so unique—I started with the Pumpkin Spiced Chai and now I’m slowly sipping my way through the rest of their menu. Today I tried the fig and pair and I can’t wait to come back again and again.

I’m so sorry I am the definition of a coffee snob and this place tries really hard & the staff is super kind, but the coffee just isn’t it for me. As with most cafés in & around Warrensburg I will order my flat white to sit & in a mug & it comes out in a take away cup. Not a huge deal, but I do ask for it to be remade. Unfortunately many places will just haphazardly dump the contents of my flat white into a mug thus ruining the foam on top of the drink. This particular flat white still has too much foam even after being dumped and is much closer to an unstable latte (see the large amount of bubbles). Flat whites should have a small amount of micro foam. The milk in du Burg’s flat white tastes slightly over steamed leaving a bitter & sour taste in your mouth with a fat amount of foam on the top. I don’t judge on latte art because I believe taste is more important than appearance, but I would imagine with the shape of the dine-in mugs being deep rather than round the baristas would struggle to make really beautiful latte art here. The price as well makes this the most expensive flat white I’ve had in Missouri and was still not done correctly unfortunately.

Please note the baristas are great & I gave their flat white 3 chances before reviewing! Super nice people & I will continue to visit and just maybe avoid anything that involves steamed milk.

First photo is from Du Burg, second photo is from a different café, but you can see the velvety texture of the milk.
