Boo hoo. Hours say takeout till 10. Big “open” sign turned. Walked in 9:43, was told (on a Friday night no less) “sorry, not taking take out orders.”. Okay, I can understand that, if you DONT have a big huge “Open” sign neon turned on in your business’ window. Turn off the sign, your NOT open…wasted 10 minutes of my life cause someone was lazy and couldn’t turn off a simple sign.

The delivery drivers are awesome. Shout out to Fitzgerald in particular. But my last 2 orders have been abysmal- huge bald spots on my pizza where a pan crust had no sauce, cheese or toppings is unacceptable. Even with Delivery Insurance, where they make up for issues with free pizza, the replacement pizza is likely to be scantily topped as well. This happened on an order 2 weeks back where I ordered hand tossed with extra cheese, and again tonight where i ordered pan pizza with ‘normal’ cheese. (I didn’t order extra tonight because i had a feeling I’d be paying for nothing like last time. The pizza tonight looked like it needs a toupee it has so many bald spots.) This is likely no fault of the staff, but the direction of the franchisee- if the owner is reading this, please stop being so effing cheap, dude. A customer shouldn’t have to call the store and beg the staff to properly distribute toppings on pizza. There are other indie pizza joints, there’s Pizza Hut, there’s Pizza Guys, there’s Delish… don’t have all of Midtown order elsewhere because you’re stingy. It’s not a good look.

EVERY TIME i order from this spot, there is a problem. First they didn’t even deliver my order years ago now, and tried to keep my money. I went through corporate and got credit for a future order only to find out that all my info was deleted when i went to use it. Last year i ordered two pizzas and they were burnt. After finding out it’s the same manager i just ignored it because i didn’t want to deal with it. Now i order and my pizzas aren’t cut through and i can’t pull the pieces apart. I asked for them to pick them back up and i want a refund, only to be told i can’t have one. On top of it, everytime they are complete a holes about it. No customer service at all. All i wanted a some Pizza. Never again.

The Pizza is decent quality, the staff is usually friendly and I’ve never had an issue with an order here. That may be partially because I always pick up and ensure that its correct before I leave. Also with the cost of everything nowadays the coupons they have online still make this one of the best bangs for your buck around.

No ice offered for beverages. They also will NOT customize a full pizza (e.g., half no mushrooms, etc.). Extra for cheese packets. No salt at all available. Manager was inflexible with regard to these restrictions/rules. Only use this place as last resort for relatively cheap food.

I had a good experience but only after calling Corporate. They adjusted my free pizza but when I phoned back to the J. Street store, the young man was rude a second time. Everyone in the building heard & I will choose another store going forward.
