This is where the issues began ,Jamarius attempted to run my card again for the drink, but the system wasn’t working. I had already given my card information three separate times, and hearing it repeated aloud multiple times raised serious concerns about my privacy and security. Eventually, he involved the manager, Juana.
From the moment Juana got on the call, her tone was negative and dismissive. She did not introduce herself. She didn’t seem to understand the situation or care about my security concerns. Because the card had been run so many times, it began declining for suspected fraud. I then provided two additional cards, which she also repeated aloud instead of entering quietly and professionally.
Throughout the interaction, Juana refused to consider that the issue might be with their system. Instead, she repeatedly blamed my card information. When I asked if she could simply comp the drink due to all the technical issues, she ignored the request and instead asked if my special-needs brother could pay cash — which was not an option.
When offering my opinion or suggestion, I was told several time that , “I didn’t need to get an attitude,” I politely asked her to stop saying that. I was not being disrespectful — I was frustrated by the lack of empathy, accountability, and problem-solving. Rather than hearing me out or addressing my issues Juana hung up on me mid- conversation which was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I called back to purchase the drink after contacting my bank to remove the fraud hold. When I asked to speak with Juana again, she refused to come to the phone. Fortunately, Jamarius stepped in and calmly helped resolve the issue. He discovered the real problem: my card had been entered as a gift card the entirety time not a credit card — something the manager never noticed. In the end, the drink was still never added, which caused unnecessary stress for my brother, who relies on consistency and routine.
This entire experience has made me seriously reconsider doing business with this location in the future. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service — especially from management — was completely unacceptable.
Had to re slice both when I got home. I normally order from the Ozark location but I was just passing through. First time ordering from Troy and probably the last.
