My father is diabetic and was going to need to eat soon so that’s why we chose Domino’s so we could get food faster than a dine in restaurant. He ended up having a sugar crash and we had to resort to emergency methods because the food took so long. Sadly after an episode like that, he could not even enjoy the food.
Delivery guy was paid a 20% tip through the app and we also paid a delivery fee. When he arrived almost 2 hours after ordering, he didn’t even smile when we made a comment about how late it was. He just passed it over and walked away. He didn’t even say hello. Not deserving of our 20% tip and disrespectful in my opinion.
The food was cold, there were only 6 banana peppers on the entire pizza and there was no extra cheese as requested and paid for. We weren’t even able to have a conversation with someone about it either.
I have a business background so I respect Domino’s for their tech innovations in business however, the way their system is set-up, there is no way to have an in person conversation about anything unless we drive there, even if there was a real issue. That’s a problem. I hope to stop by tomorrow to speak with someone directly as we are highly disappointed by the service and food quality we received tonight. Our hotel is only 4 minutes away but I am willing to speak with someone. We filled out the report on the order and they offered a free pizza but unfortunately we will be leaving. Order was under my father’s email. We chose Domino’s for their reliability and consistency but unfortunately after that experience, we aren’t sure we can choose dominos in the future.
Normally I would consider speaking with someone to hear their side before writing something like this as I am a multiple business owner myself but if dominos wants to only allow digital assistance and restrict human interaction and problem solving completely, then this is how customers will need to be heard.
This place seems intentionally bad. Avoid at all costs!
i grabbed my infrared thermometer because i was curious how hot it would be… since they said they made it 1 hour 15 minutes earlier.
coagulated cheese stuck to the cardboard when we tried to take a slice out to heat it.
gross. lesson learned. and it not the drivers fault, i tipped 30%… because if you are delivering pizzas to make money… you need support, cool.
it’s the lack of drivers i suppose.
