We ordered delivery and I was very impressed fast and fresh the best pizza we’ve gotten from dominos yet we don’t usually have a lot of complaints or issues with this store but they have absolutely nailed it keep up the good work

We ordered embarrassingly close to closing time, but after the manager themself called to verify that we did in fact need the order delivered, they let us know their team would make it happen. We obviously didn’t expect the best product given the time (we know everyone was probably rushing to go home, I’ve worked at a chain pizza place myself!) but were VERY pleasantly surprised to find our food in excellent condition, warm, and ready to be eaten on our front porch as directed in a timely manner. Excellently stacked, lovely ingredients, wonderful presentation all around!
We love that this is our closest Dominoes! Honestly, they messed up an order a few visits ago but went above and beyond to 1. offer sincere apologies and 2. immediately make it right. Mistakes happen, but they showed us they cared about us as people and as customers, and that means a lot. Thank you again!

This location is not one I have ever been to but it is close to an event I was picking up multiple pizzas for on Monday night 11/3. The East Village location is one of the cleanest, well organized restaurants I’ve seen. I think it’s an older location but it looked like it just opened. The crew was backed up a little due to some large orders but never seemed flustered and a couple of times they updated me on the progress of my order in a professional manner. Great job Domino’s of East Village.

I called for take out hoping to order my food ahead of time so that it would be ready in the 15 minutes it takes me to get to dominos but they immediately placed me on hold for the whole call. Upon arriving to dominos I ask if they’re busy in which the dude replies “no” . I then proceed to ask why I was on hold & he responds he hasn’t even received any calls . Mind you when I pull up I see him at the front counter on his personal phone ! Which is crazy ! Then I order one pizza & he tells me it’s going to take 15 minutes to cook when it could have been done if dominos’ employees weren’t slacking ! I work in fast food myself & know that this is unacceptable ! Trust & believe I don’t want to spend my hard earned money just as bad as you don’t want to work, but we all have to make sacrifices sometimes ! So I’m sitting in here for 20 minutes waiting on my pizza ! I address the guy packing then the guy who took my order finally comes around & picks my pizza up off the hot plate . Then I look at it & it barely has any pepperoni on it & no garlic butter on the crust which I asked for ! I literally don’t even want to eat it !! It looks so unappealing !! EVERYTIME I come here it’s some mess !! I’m about to just start going to Little Caesars down the road because at least they value their customers !

Guys, I swear I do not want to leave a bad review here as I understand people can have an off day. What I want you to understand is that I work for Walmart making 14 bucks an hour. I had to work two hours to pay for the meal you provided. Not only was it a great disappointment as I was very hungry but, it was embarrassing as I had to serve it my guest. The pizza literally smelled rotten. I think it was rotten onions. The veggie pizza I ordered specifically with extra sauce had literally none on it. The second pizza I ordered had literally no sauce on it. The veggie pizza was missing many toppings. I am only complaining because I work too hard for my money and my meals. It was absolutely terrible! You guys have been hit or miss lately. I think I will just start making my own from a box kit. What I want back most of all is my hard earned money.

Pizza was fresh but, I asked for extra cheese and it was multiple places that cheese wasn’t even on the pizza. Employees in the back eating and using their bare hands to transfer toppings in another container. When asked about wearing gloves and the extra cheese, they gave instant attitude and, one employee actually looked me in the face and laughed. Who wants to deal with that at 1030 pm and a long shift at work.

10/12/2024 – Update. I placed a To-Go order and it was delayed when I arrived to pick it up. The crew allowed me a pop while I waited. In addition to that, there was an extra pepperoni pizza on the shelf. They tossed that on with my order just cause. They went above and beyond to make things right for me.

Whatever you do don’t make a MISTAKE on the Dominos App,and not cancel your order even though you thought that you did;because you might make the Manager mad;which may cause him to give you the pizza from the previous day or a burnt,dry,not picked up pizza like we did❗❗ The only reason why some of the pizza was eaten,is because my grandson that’s Autistic just loves pizza from Dominos;but as for my daughter and I we both ended up throwing ours in the trash because it tasted old and stale like it had been sitting out. If this is the new way Dominos is doing things I need to find either a new Dominos for my grandson,or find a better Pizza place all together here in what’s still a #Sundowntown; I truly feel like this was done on purpose and that our pizza was tempered with. Burlington,NC is a Racist town that has a Racist Confederate statue just about 5miles down the road that the town is proud of;if we had been a caucasin family we would’ve gotten an apology from the Manager and we definitely would’ve have gotten a burnt,dry,day old pizza. Well I tried to contact the store and found out from their disrespectful Manager Marco,that he remade our pizza and that it wasn’t burnt and that we got a free pizza ;how was the pizza free when we’d paid for two pizzas but Marco gave us another customers pizza that was half Pepperoni and 1/2 ham and pineapple all we wanted was the correct pizza that we’d paid for❗Like I said THERE IS NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE as Marco demonstrated in the phone call I made to find out what the district office’s contact information was,but was told that HE REALLY DIDN’T CARE;like I told him I knew that he didn’t care cause if he did our food would’ve been made correctly. I told him that all he had to do was check this review and he’ll be able to see that the pizza was burnt,maybe the franchise owner will be able to see the quality that’s comes from his location;and maybe find employees that CARE about CUSTOMER SERVICE❗ ♀

I don’t recommend ordering anything from here. 3rd time in a row I was delivered a cold, burnt. “Handmade pan” pizza more like hand tossed. Disgusting. & their excuse is they only have 1 delivery driver. Not sure what that has with the quality of the pizza. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

The only good thing I can say the food was hot and fresh. While waiting for my pickup order I heard a customer ask how long was the wait and they told him 45-60 min. Mine was done in 15. I got the impression they didn’t want customers.
My pizza was not cut through and instead of the long cut being in the middle it was closer to the top quarter of the circle.
