No pizza at 7pm. Called Cedar location multiple times with no answer. We kept calling and was eventually told they can’t deliver. There was no notification or call about lack of drivers. Turn off website orders if you can’t fulfill them, don’t just make pizzas that can’t be delivered and people don’t know they have to pick up.
This is the second time this has happened at this location. I will not be ordering Domino’s in the future.
Congratulations. Order #1665 (placed October 3rd at 6:19 PM) has officially redefined my expectations for pizza delivery. I didn’t realize I had accidentally signed up for the new “Starve & Wait” rewards program. Two hours later, I still had no pizza—unless, of course, you were delivering it to a mystery customer at a mystery address. If so, I hope they enjoyed my dinner.
When I called, the solutions offered were nothing short of groundbreaking:
1. Wait another 45–60 minutes for a “re-fired” order (because after two hours, what’s another hour, right?).
2. Get a refund that would take 2–5 business days to appear, since apparently sending money back is significantly more complex than, say, launching a rocket into space.
I declined both, because as fun as it sounded to spend my entire evening waiting for pizza that might show up at the right house, I had other plans. And waiting a week for my own money? Genius customer service move. Truly cutting-edge.
In short, I paid for dinner, but instead got a crash course in patience, hunger management, and low expectations. Not quite what I had in mind when I clicked “Place Order.”
Please let me know how Domino’s plans to salvage this fiasco. A simple “sorry” won’t cut it—unless of course “sorry” comes with a time machine and some actual pizza.
Hungry and unimpressed
– Last order (25 Oct):
– App “Tracker” said 27-37 mins from order to ready–took 55 mins.
– Made special request for thin crust to be “Pie Cut”. On pickup pizza was “square cut”. Receipt indicated “Pie Cut” request. Manager said they “get on autopilot” sometimes.
– Next to last order, ordered pepperoni pizza w/ diced tomatoes–received with *no* pepperoni. Also received wrong “cut” on thin crust.
– “Cut” screwup has happened on *two* other previous thin crust orders, with complaints previously lodged w/ store.
Overall, pizza takes great, just inconsistent execution. Comes down to management and training.
