A completely majestic experience we were lucky enough to have Geno (I hope that spelling is correct) who was retiring in 3 days. He made us feel like the whole place was catering to us. Definitely make a reservation even if it’s just the day before!

We had the most amazing time while celebrating our children’s wedding anniversary. We were lucky enough to have Joe wait on us. We told him what we were interested in eating and he said “just let me take it from here.”
Every dish was outstanding. He selected some of the best wine I have ever had for us, the pairing was sensational. We even got a private tour of the wine cellar.
We were sad to miss Dominic and the chance for him to sing, but it just gives us the perfect reason to come back soon. Be sure to make a reservation. There aren’t many restaurants left like this.

The Rolls served hot in a basket with butter is easy to overindulge in.
The calamari was cooked perfectly.
If you like risotto, try the risotto with lobster.
Veal Parmesan is excellent.
If you’re lucky, you may hear Dominic sing at one of the tables for a birthday or anniversary!

Our experience with Dominic’s is an example of one bad server spoiling the evening. I’ll start with the positives, both the food and atmosphere were outstanding. We had a variety of servers attending the table and almost all were very responsive.
The exception was our table captain who was rude and condescending through our meal. We were not told of any special “off the menu” items though we saw him sharing the information with other tables. When he came to take our order, he did not greet us but asked “what do you want to eat?” At one point in the meal, he came to our table and asked if we liked the food. When we said we loved it, he said “aren’t you glad you didn’t go to Pasta House?”
We interpreted the question as insulting and inappropriate. The server left us with a feeling we were not welcome and we left quickly after finishing our meal.

2- every waiter, waitress, etc were better than perfect…. very, very professional….not over the top, they were ”genuine”, etc
3 – service was like clockwork
4 – Geeno [ spelling? ] and Dominic are like movie characters …fantastic ..fun…etc
5 – food = great
— it is not a dinner but a grand, enjoyable ,intoxicating yet relaxing experience

I have never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. The wait staff was obviously judging us because we don’t look rich enough. They were attentive to all the people around us but we waited ages to have our orders taken and our check given to us. The food was absolutely delicious and they gave us a free dessert for our anniversary but it was hard to enjoy myself when the staff was so standoffish.

We’ve dined at Dominic’s for more than 30 years and have never had a less than perfect dish or excellent service. I like to start with the snails, then a Dominic’s salad, and the veal chop, or veal marsala, or chicken marsala. My wife starts with the eggplant parmigiana, the same salad, and a pasta with pomadoro sauce. The service is attentive, and nothing is rushed. Dominic’s is a great restaurant, especially if Dominic sings.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! The best service! The nicest people! The best Italian food! It’s just a beautiful establishment… I can’t say enough about the hospitality that we received! They run a tight ship! I super highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️

Call it ironic, went to Dominic’s because of a negative one star review. It was really Kayla’s review that sold us. Complaining about how it’s a Sicilian restaurant and they don’t have lasagna and other Americanized Italian, I knew this was the spot. While I do feel sorry to hear of her father’s dietary restrictions and misunderstanding of what real Italian food is. Unlimited soup salad and bread sticks at Olive garden sounds like the “Italian” they were looking for. Back to the our experience, it was awesome we laughed with the staff and had a ball joking around. The snails with artichoke were special and perfectly savory. Arincini was slap ya momma good. I also got the pappardelle with the veal picatta, didn’t want a full portion of pasta so they offered half, so I was happy. All I can say about the negative reviews is read the menu before you go this isn’t Olive garden. Be prepared for true Italian dishes that you don’t see every day and prepared with love and attention.
