The food was quite delicious. My father particularly enjoyed his fish, declaring it the best he had ever tasted. My mother’s tacos were also very well-received, and my own selections were equally enjoyable, especially the French fries.
Everything tasted wonderful, and the food was served warm. While the service could have been slightly improved, the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. Although the meal was a bit expensive, we do plan to return. However, we may not visit as frequently due to the cost.

This place was close to our hotel, and the family needed to eat, but didn’t have the energy for getting back in the car in a strange town. My father-in-law had the beef enchiladas with red sauce. I tasted it… delicious, very mild… I couldn’t discern what chilies they used… quite red in color, maybe paprika?. My mother in-law & I had the gorditas…. Corn batter- excellent- spiced up to taste by the table chilies & salsa. My husband had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and at my request put mole on one… the green chili sauce was very tasty…. Chunky roasted green chilies…. Wow- that mole might have been the best I’ve ever had…. Is there cardamom in your recipe? Wow- it just works. YUM!

I didn’t really have any interaction with the staff other than when the waiter took our order – brotha seemed like a robot.

We’re from Kentucky. So we felt the need to eat Mexican so close to the border. We were pleased. The food and service was good.
They had live music also which we liked. And I’d call it a bonus that it wasn’t loud.

The service here is amazing to start off with, the atmosphere is a standard restaurant. The store is visible clean. Now to the food which is amazing I love their tacos in particularly I always order them. I recommend Dominguez to anyone.

Extremely bummed about my lunch. The beans are loaded with vinegar not sure if they poured vinegar into their beans or if it’s from the pickled jalapeno. Maybe 10-12 chips. Zero flavor , zero love

First time coming here and it was a recommendation by someone I work with. Chips and the green salsa that is served was really tasty. I ordered the beef enchiladas with red sauce which were really good. The place was fairly crowded for if only being a Tuesday evening.

I had the Gordita plate. Delish corn masa gorditas. The filling has a delicious flavor. The beans are flavored like moms and the rice was also like moms. I came at lunch on a Fri. It was calm and relaxing. The service was pretty good. The cashier a young lady was so nice. I recommend Doninguez Mx rest on Airways Blvd in El Paso. Im bringing friends here. You wont be sorry with the Gorditas. Im sure the sazon is good with the other plates.

I’m confused by the negative reviews I’ve seen. Granted, they are the minority. We are from Arizona and everyone in my party tends to not like Tex Mex, preferring more traditional northern Mexican dishes instead.
The food was excellent. I got the filete tampiquena. It was cooked to my liking, came with an enchilada, guacamole, beans and warm tortillas. I loved it. Our 5 year old got a cheese quesadilla and even that was fantastic.
Staff was attentive, ambience simple, hut overall we had a great time. Best Mexican food I’ve had in Texas. Not that we’ve eaten everywhere the state has to offer but it’s better than the spots near Houston we’ve tried in the past.

This “fine Mexican restaurant” only has Bud Light on tap. The chips and salsa were OK… The green was average and the pico wasn’t bad. I asked for a spicy one and they bright this red/brown one out. I took one taste and honestly could not believe they served something that tasted this bad. My Hispanic wife literally spit it out with the horrible taste.
My wife got the chicken tortilla soup which wasn’t bad. I ordered the green enchiladas and they had flour tortillas and had so much liquid in them they could have passed as soup.
Dingy place. Will not return.
