Parking was a little confusing but was able to get in and out quick. I got the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. It was pretty good. I would say it was kind of uniform in texture. Flavor profile is decent. I really liked the bread that it was made with though.

This is my go to lunch spot in Waltham! Phenomenal eggplant parm and sandwich list. My only request is you guys have to heat up your hot sandwiches more. The past couple times I have gotten a hot sandwich It has been just barely lukewarm. Overall amazing spot!

I want to start by saying that the food here is truly great and consistently enjoyable. However, I was disappointed with the service experience. One of the representatives was distracted, talking to friends at the counter, and as a result, my sandwich was dropped due to a lack of attention. It’s especially disheartening because my family has done a lot of work for this company, and I would have expected better treatment. This incident was quite eye-opening and has given me something to think about. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving customer service.

I ordered the Parma sandwich and homemade chips here, and was super impressed! If you are seeing the mixed reviews and feeling conflicted, I’m Italian (from Puglia!) and I really enjoyed this panino. The bread is more of a ciabatta style, and you can tell it’s made fresh. They have a really great selection of imported meats, and the prosciutto di parma on my sandwich was delicious. I love that they offer true mozzarella di bufalo– IYKYK– and the handmade chips were SO good. I will have to return to try the chicken/eggplant parm people seem to love, but I’m already impressed by the true Italian sandwiches which are rare to come by in Boston at this quality (I’d even say I don’t find it in the North End; tends to be more American style).

Since 1979 baby. A local establishment with Italian food you’d be proud to bring your favorite mob boss to. Pasta sandwiches arancini pizza and it is all knocked out of the park. I usually get the bomba (pictured) but the chicken parm is a classic go to. Do not skip this place.

I’m going to be strictly honest with you, I think this place used to be very good. Now I don’t think so. it’s definitely NOT the cleanest, I just ordered an eggplant Parm from there, And when I got home to eat it, I opened it up to put some lettuce in, and there was a BUG slithering around it. They can keep my $16 but I will not be returning there again. I mean 90% of the people don’t even check their sandwiches before they eat it. You might want to now!

Before I start on the food, let me say this. There is nothing Italian about this place. It was all Spanish people working when I went there, so they are clearly following recipes. The food was good. The pizza was relatively really good, the meatballs were nothing crazy, and the chicken was decent but I liked the Italian the best. The prices were high for average food. I won’t drive out of my way again for it like I did this time to try it out, might not even try again if im in the area. $17 for the chicken that tasted like it’s been sitting in a steam table and couple slices of prociutto. The cheese was crumbly and old. Overall go someone else for half the price.

It’s a small, wonderful, delicious delicatessen. It’s all carryout so the atmosphere doesn’t matter. Large portions. After reading reviews I got the chicken parm sandwich and it lived up to the hype.
