Wonderful! Domek has my vote for Best of Eugene! The dishes are elevated, fabulously fresh, yet have deep character. Sarah, the chef’s wife, graciously gave us a tour of the menu before the server came to take our orders.
My favorite tonight was the Hungarian farmer’s cheese dish and the ling cod. The cod was perfectly cooked, yet had a delicate, crunchy crust. It was swimming in a deeply flavorful pepper sauce. I loved the leeks. They were silkily soft with a wonderful char.
The cocktails were outstanding with layers of flavor that melded together perfectly. I wanted to try a dessert but I ate too much.
What I am most excited about is the rotating menu. Domek’s melding of several Eastern European cuisines and Eugene’s local fair will keep me coming back again and again.
The prices of the dishes are very reasonable. I only spent a lot because my daughter and I wanted to try everything. My daughter was delighted when they checked her coat lol. Lot’s of fun! Do try!

What an absolute amazing evening spent here. The staff and food were absolutely darling. Sarah and Giovanna were so warm and welcoming, great people truly, they contributed to an already lovely atmosphere. We ordered a couple starters/entrées between the two of us and a main course plus dessert. I felt it was reasonably priced for the nice sit down experience, ambience, and the flavourful food portions. I always love trying new places, especially ones with an Eastern European flair and Domek left me very satisfied!! Medovik is a favourite of mine and I was so happy to have some here. I will 100% be coming back and bringing friends!

What a treat for Eugene! We dined last night and met Sarah, who seated us around 8pm. Everything was wonderful, especially the shrimp toast and pirogies, and don’t skip the pork belly! It was a nice leisurely dinner (they’re open a bit later than other places) and we loved the warm atmosphere overall. Highly recommend!

We came here for a special occasion. Service was fantastic! They are great at explaining the timing of food delivery and helping us with some words we weren’t familiar with. The food was incredible! Good value for size of the dish. The cocktail menu included classics and some innovative creative options. 10/10 would definitely recommend! And don’t sleep on dessert!

We visited Domek for the first time last week and what a pleasant surprise. Beautiful, warm decor that is intimate and vibey. The hostess and servers were very welcoming and attentive. Drinks were 10/10, my favorites items we tried were the shrimp toast and pirogies and chocolate dessert. Will definitely go again and recommend. A great addition to the Eugene food scene!

Chef Andrew has done an excellent job with bringing Eugene this new, wonderful restaurant. We were very impressed with everything we ordered. The menu has some unique offerings, and we felt like serving sizes were well matched to the prices. Our service was phenomenal. We appreciated the attentiveness of the entire staff from the moment we walked in until we left. We love what they have done with the space, but felt it was very loud for the environment. Overall, much praise for delicious food and kind people.

I was excited to try a new Eugene restaurant, despite some hesitation about Eastern European food. I started with the High Five cocktail because I like my drinks “light, citrus, and crisp”. Instead it was very sweet from a heavy pour of Aperol and simple syrup with barely a hint of lime. After tasting it, I took it to the bar and asked if the bar tender could make the cocktail with less Aperol and simple syrup and more lime. She said she could, then brought me exactly the same overly sweet “crisp” drink.
My partner asked for mineral water and was brought a full size bottle of Perrier that was half gone, and the water was flat.
The beet and citrus salad was very good, but came with an oddly large serving of cashew creme. My paprika cod was served in a wide soup bowl full of a pool of thin sauce with a heavy handed amount of paprika. The cod was good, but I had to dip into some of my partner’s mashed potatoes to tone down the excessive paprika.
If you like fairly heavy Eastern Europe food and are fine paying $60+ per person, you’ll be happy. If you, like me, prefer lighter, brighter fare, you’ll want to look elsewhere. Although, that’s a bit hard to find in Eugene

Really enjoyed our anniversary dinner last night. The small plates were particularly fabulous!
Definitely would recommend finishing your meal with a glass of Tokaji.

Domek has created something special in Eugene. Chef Andrew’s dishes are comforting, eclectic and delicious. There’s a familiarity in his food that warms your soul. The space is bright and lively and well curated.
Sarah is hands down the best host. She has a fantastic memory for people and preferences.
