After finishing our white water river rafting adventure, we were searching for a good place to eat and came across this restaurant which is just 0.1 mile away from the rafting spot. The place turned out to be much better than we expected. It was very neat, well maintained, and had both indoor and outdoor seating options, which made it even more comfortable depending on what you prefer. The ambiance felt relaxing after such an energetic activity.
We were lucky to have Abigail as our server. She was extremely sweet, polite, and very helpful throughout our time there. Since it was our first visit, we weren’t sure what to order, but she guided us patiently, suggested the right dishes, and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. Her recommendations were perfect and added so much to our experience. Honestly, her friendly nature and service made our visit feel very special, and we are truly thankful to her.
The food was tasty, well prepared, and served fresh. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service, it made our first visit a very memorable one. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting for river rafting. It’s so close by, and after such an adventurous activity, it’s the perfect spot to relax, eat, and enjoy great service.

I really enjoyed being at this restaurant for my special birthday. The ambience was very cozy, it reminded me of a log cabin. The staff was helpful at picking out suggestions for wines. I would definitely go here again. If you are in the Jim Thorpe/Poconos area please stop by, the food and service will not disappoint.

Very nice atmosphere, food and service. I got the full racks of ribs which were full of flavor and meat. I also tried and enjoy some starters such as calamari, fries and pierogis. The waitress, I forget her name but she was an older women, was fantastic. The waitress was full of personality and was very sharp considering the large group we had. When I’m back up the mountains I will definitely return.

The food here was fantastic! I ordered the crab and shrimp Alfredo, and I was impressed by the generous portion and the amount of fresh seafood in the dish. It was delicious.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere made for a very unpleasant experience. We were seated on the covered deck, but the cold air blowing up through the floorboards was impossible to ignore. To make matters worse, the roof was leaking in multiple spots, dripping on our entire group throughout the meal. I’d love to come back for the food, but the issues with the dining area made it very hard to enjoy the evening. I would recommend asking for a table inside the main restaurant or getting take out.

Me and my daughter stopped by for dinner in Jim Thorpe and had a wonderful experience! The pierogies were soft and flavorful, fried mushrooms perfectly crispy, and the Alfredo pasta rich and creamy. Even the fresh bread and salad stood out and made the meal feel complete. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made us feel right at home. If you’re ever in Jim Thorpe, this spot is an absolute must-try for comfort food lovers!

Stopped here for dinner last month after wandering around historical downtown Jim Thorpe and riding the Lehigh Gorge railway.
Not sure if the interior consists of only the bar & kitchen but when we walked up to the host/hostess booth, was automatically taken to a table outside.
Weather was perfect that early evening and preferred outside dining anyways. Located a few minutes north on the outskirts of town, we rather enjoyed our experience here.
Coming from the Chicago area, we were visiting my dad’s siblings in Tamaqua & Coaldale to begin with. My first time visiting Jim Thorpe was 2010, this is only my 2nd time ever and my wife & kids’ first time in PA.
Chose this restaurant ahead of time for the dinner plans being I noticed that quite a few restaurants in downtown JT are closed M-W and for the most part it’s the bars & pubs that are open most of or the whole week.
This place has a great all-around menu with some fine entree choices. Ended up ordering Italian for the most part which everything was delicious and our server Emma was very welcoming, friendly & attentive.
Clean dining room, great food at fair prices (much more reasonable than where we live) and shining customer service make this venue a must if visiting Jim Thorpe. Hope for decades of boomin’ business for the owner(s).

Took my lovely wife here for an early Valentines Day dinner (on the10th!). The food was amazing! The Veal was tender and delicious. My wife had the Halibut Florentine and she said it was the best she ever had! It’s her new favorite! Compliments to the chef! Debbie was our server and was very attentive and pleasant.
