My new favorite restaurant! It’s a good thing I live in another county because I would gain so much weight! I’m writing this as a food allergy sufferer. I’m allergic to multiple foods but corn is the one that is the biggest problem to avoid when eating out. It’s in everything! Especially pre-packaged sauces and such. Everything at Dollie’s is made from scratch!!!! I’m so happy because I can’t remember the last time I ate out and didn’t have some kind of reaction. Thrilled!!!! Not only that, the food is delicious!!!! So yummy and fresh! The blueberry muffin…. oh my. Pure culinary escatsy! You get salad bar, fruit choices, bakery choices, pasta choices, and ice cream bar. The drink choices are great. My hubby LOVED the mint lemonade. Our server was so wonderfully attentive and charming. I couldn’t believe it didn’t cost more! I would have paid more since it is all from scratch, so even more of a blessing to find this place!! The restaurant was spotless everywhere!!!!! We had a great view from our window. My hubby wears hearing aids and the noise level was easier on him than most restaurants. We actually were able to carry on a conversation. I highly recommend this place.

Great place for a light dinner! A fantastic and fresh salad bar, several kinds of soup, two kinds of lemonade, a selection of muffins, pasta, and pizza. Simple, but great for a group. Everyone can get what they want! Our server, Mitch, was so great. Very patient with our huge group. Haha

I grew up going to Sweet Tomatoes on e a month growing up. When they went out of business around COVID time, I was devastated! I’ve been waiting for them to come back, or for a similar buffet to come back—one that’s clean, fresh, and homestyle cookery. I’m so glad Dollie’s opened! It’s the same location as the old Sweet Tomatoes, same layout, same everything! They’ve tweaked a few of their dishes and added some more variety which I liked.

Overall, this place was amazing. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, great tasting food, and great nostalgia for me. I will definitely be going back regularly. If you want good tasting food and all-you-can-eat, but don’t like the typical buffet atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Food is excellent quality. Flavor? It’s fine. It is Utah so as long as you are local, it’s gonna be great.

The chocolate muffin is great. Crispy muffin top and moist on the inside. I didn’t try the baked potato bc too many options. The chili is average—I would take Wendy’s over Dollies but great sides from cheese-sour cream-bacon bits. The salads are very good with three dozen options. Chicken soup? It’s fine. It clean so that makes it soulless but decent taste.

Drinks? It comes with the meal so for $15-16 with coffee, soup, kid size pizza (reminds me of school cafeteria pizza, which is nostalgic), there are a lot of options to fill you up.

Our family hadn’t been to this location since it was Sweet Tomatoes and pre-COVID.

The menu was relatively what we remembered, except wider salad variety, drink cost is included in the price and you pay the server after you sit down rather than before.

Soup selection was great, although the temperature could have been warmer. Baked potato bar was fantastic. Pastas (red GF and mac&cheese) needed more sauce and flavor.
Fruit bar, ice cream bar were good.

Service was wonderful and all the staff were ensuring the stations were clean and well-kept. I also loved the hands-free door opener in the women’s bathroom.

Absolutely the worst all around.. salad was sub par, pasta was flavorless, soup didn’t look worth trying, and pizza looked like a frozen pizza…. You don’t pay at the beginning or end like any normal restaurant, the server comes over and very oddly asked, can I take a quick payment??? That was so odd!!! Then since we didn’t tip very much, since he wasn’t doing very much except clean up our plates once. He truly never checked back on us. Seriously I would not recommend this place. Especially at 20 dollars a place. OUTRAGEOUS. MIGHT HAVE RECEIVED 5 stars if it cost 4.99 a person

This is the worst place I’ve eaten. The chicken noodle soup is basically just water with some noodles and chicken. The waitress comes to the table and expects a tip when they don’t even so much as bring drinks. The waitresses were just standing in the corner talking and on their phones. You guys could have a dirty plate return/tray return counter and it’d probably be more effective than the waitresses.

Great place if you’re in the mood for soup and salad. For a Buffett, the food is exceptionally fresh. Bakery items are delicious. Kid friendly. You start at salad bar so my boy filled up on vegetables before he even saw the pizza and pasta bar. That’s a win.

Review from my 4 year old:

“This is the best place in the whole world Dad.

Can’t get no better.”

We love visiting Dollie’s Soup & Salad, especially for the excellent lunch pricing at $16 compared to $19 for dinner. Guests can enjoy an unlimited buffet featuring a variety of soups, salads, pasta, bakery items, desserts, and drinks, with plenty of great options for vegetarians. The service is consistently excellent, and the restaurant has a warm, cozy, home-style atmosphere with plenty of seating to accommodate groups of any size. Our favorite item which we would recommend is the clam chowder!
