I love it and will definitely visit many times over.
Soup and Panini were delicious!!..
Anyway, I was nearby and needed a quick lunch, and this seemed like it would be a decent option. I had my doubts based on the appearance, which was cramped, bare, and a little untidy (boxes on tables), and I was a little disappointed they were out of most of their baked goods at 1:45, but my smoked salmon panini and iced latte were actually quite good. For a place of this size, the menu is huge, and the sandwiches are all made to order. My panini tasted very fresh and had a good amount of salmon. Pretty standard, as was the latte, but it was standard done right. The panini came in a big plastic takeout box (and they started to put the box in a plastic bag before I said I didn’t need it) which I thought was excessive; a small parchment paper bag for the sandwich would’ve been just fine. Reasonable prices. Because they’re making things to order, you’ll have to wait a bit longer than you would at a cafe that carries pre-assembled sandwiches.
The staff were really nice and they were chatting with people who seemed to be regulars. The one guy who rung me up kept having to ask another staff member if they had the drink specifications I was asking for and then forgetting to add those to my order. I did get what I wanted after reminding him but I am puzzled as to how he forgot so quickly.
It seems like a good place for a quick lunch during a work break which is probably the majority of their clientele. Simple stuff at a price that, if you’re working nearby, is affordable for everyday. If they tidied up the inside of the cafe it could be a nice place. There’s a shaded patio outside in the complex that provides a nicer environment to enjoy your meal.
The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the paninis. They were incredible, boasting the perfect balance of flavors and textures. It’s clear that Dolce Cafe prioritizes freshness, as every ingredient tasted as if it was sourced that morning. Whether you’re a fan of classic combinations or more adventurous fillings, there’s something here that will delight your taste buds.
The ambiance of the cafe adds to the overall experience. The place is quaint and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a quality lunch that truly breaks up your day in the best way possible.
In conclusion, Dolce Cafe is a gem that offers fantastic food, exceptional service, and a charming environment. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to have a delightful lunch, I highly recommend stopping by.
Food looked terrible. Typical old / caked- looking cheap quality muffins and croissants. Not fresh or else just clearly industrial-made and purchased. Zero ambience. This seemed like a convenience stop for people in nearby offices. No idea how rating is so high. I would never go back again. There are so many great coffee shop in the area.
