We were shopping at all the little shops and two shop.owners recommended we stop here for Gelato and coffee. The shop owner was really nice and the Gelato was superb. Get three flavors and they come in fancy mini martini glasses on a carrying rack. After looking at their full food menu, we will have to come back for supper some night.

This is a great place for every meal and a coffee & snack pickmeup.
Their prices are very reasonable, their homemade gelato is not too sweet, and their half wedge salad was topped with a delightful house-made blue cheese dressing.
Today we went back and had meatball sliders topped with fresh mozzarella and sauce. Served with fried potato wedges and a dish of red sauce with Panini bread for lunch. Dessert was fantastically rich Cafe Americano and coconut gelato. I took a picture of my coffee after I added the heavy cream to it because you can tell by the color what fantastic coffee it is
I was so excited when I discovered that Dolce Amici has brunch on Sundays from 10:00 to 2:00 when I saw that they had both a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and several kinds of eggs benedict, I knew we had to check it out.
My partner went with the blueberry and ricotta filled crepes topped with whipped Chantilly cream. The crepes were thin and crispy, the filling was just the right amount and not over sweet.
I decided to go off-piste and have the eggs benedict on a charred croissant. It was fantastic! The egg was perfectly poached, croissant was nicely charred and, hollandaise was bright. I was also pleasantly surprised by how likely dressed the greens were, despite the fact that they were in a housemaid dressing with a creamy base. They were fantastic
As for the coffee, it’s genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had and, I’m a coffee snob.
Oh, fun fact! They get their fresh pasta from a company in Scarborough, make their own gelato, and use local ham on their eggs benedict

We happened upon this restaurant while heading to Oxford for the weekend. The outdoor dining is nice and gives European vibes. Brunch was being served when we went. We ordered eggs benedict, potato “waffle” and a chicken caprese panini. I had a Aperol spritz and my husband had a negroni. The food and drinks were very good, and we enjoyed the people watching from our table on the sidewalk. After brunch, I tried the raspberry pannacotta gelato, which was rich, creamy and delicious!

We made the short drive to Dolce Amici on Jan. 15 from Sunday River Ski Area after getting strong recommendations. We are glad we did.
The atmosphere, wonderful menu, value and experience were top notch. And our visit was made to be so nice by the owner’s care and attention to us and to every detail.
This place is gem. We are already planning on coming back with friends in 6 days.

I am a fairly regular customer here, and the food is consistently good. Unfortunately, the service could use improvement. On New Year’s Eve, we arrived at 4:00 p.m. and felt rushed throughout the meal, as though staff were trying to move diners out quickly. Our waitress also did not check in to see how our food was, which is something I’ve noticed on previous visits as well.
Additionally, I’ve experienced multiple occasions where the restaurant has been out of menu items. I completely understand this happening once in a while, but it’s been disappointing to encounter this half a dozen times. Overall, I enjoy the food and keep coming back for that reason, but more consistent service and menu availability would greatly improve the experience.

My sister and I visited Norway, Maine and decided to stop in to Dolce Amici for brunch on a rainy morning. It is so cute both inside and out! The service was outstanding, the drinks were strong and delicious, and brunch tasted great. They even gave us some cookies on the house and the staff were so sweet recommending other places to visit during our trip! The gelato is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We each got a flight of 3 flavors and loved every single one. We both agree if we ever find ourselves in Norway again, this will be our first stop!

I stopped in for a coffee to go. The interior was very pleasant and nearly every seat was full with happy customers for a winter Sunday lunch. Even with all of the guests, the sound level was low and pleasant. The gal who helped me was pleasant and relaxed and I got to see the smiling owner come out of the kitchen. I look forward to a meal some time in the future. The coffee was lovely.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Great all around. Service and food. Kind happy faces to greet us. The coffee is made fresh. They grind it fresh for you for every cup. We also had the cannolis. You can tell they put extra care and detail to everything they do. We will definitely be coming back!!

We stopped in for gelato once to try it out and couldn’t help ourselves but come back a few more times because it was so good! We tried a dinner one night and were impressed by not only the plating but the flavors of our meals.
