Really friendly staff, food was served quickly but still very fresh. Will go back every time we’re in Ambleside!
Our table was on the second floor, and I highly recommend requesting a table there. The atmosphere was fantastic—high ceilings and traditional Thai decorations.
The food was delicious and varied. We started with the combination starter and the Yum Toui vegetarian salad, both of which were great. The main dishes were equally impressive, with both curry and stir-fried options to choose from. And the desserts were simply divine.
The service was impeccable—quick, polite, and attentive.
The prices seemed reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. We felt we got our money’s worth.
Lovely staff, felt very welcomed – we enjoyed our first meal out in Ambleside.
Excellent food on our return visit. Curries were tasty with good depth of flavour. An improvement to food and service compared to 3 years ago and well worth a visit.

Starters were the best, sweetcorn fritters tasty and spring rolls were good. Red curry was tasty but had to hunt for the chicken.
Service was prompt but haphazard with the wrong wine delivered and prawn crackers forgotten.
Good flavours but could do better.
We ordered two most common dishes, i.e. Phad Thai and Prawn Fried Rice. They came very quickly, less than 10 minutes after we placed the order. After numerous meals of fish and chips, sandwiches, burgers and the like, we finally got something that appeals more to our palate. Both the fried noodles and fried rice were very tasty. I liked the fried rice very much which was dry and warm and had no MSG (we don’t agree with Uncle Roger to add MSG to fried rice).
The restaurant is in a nice historic building with a high ceiling on the second floor. Interior decoration is interesting with a not too exotic ambience. Overall a pleasant dining experience though we had to finish our meal in a rush as we have not made any reservation. Price-wise, we would say it’s reasonable tourist pricing.
