It was HORRIBLE…first off you have to give them a card to hold/put on file before you can order any food which they charge $1 before you order anything.

We were the only group in the building. It was about 11 of us.

The food was mediocre…the waitress brought out everyones sides and we had to wait for our entrees. We had wings (boneless and bone-in) ,fries, chicken sandwich(had way to much sauce on it), pizza (had no/very little sauce),the garlic toast was burnt…like the garlic was burnt.

The waitress was rude and not helpful. The other staff was kind of just standing around.

There were hardly any lights on in the dining area which was being lit by the big TV on the entry wall. So when the tv went from bright to darker the dinning area kept getting dim.

The woman’s restroom smelled like mildew and mold.

All around a trash experience.

First picture is what was pictured online. Other two are the fries and boneless wings we received. Fries mushy and not edible and wings were barely wings with a small cup of sauce (not enough to cover wings). Poor packaging for to go orders. Pizza was also cold and bland. Door dasher also stole other half of order. Dogwood did remake order but food wasn’t much better. Just warmer. Dessert items were good though.

Let me tell you… Dogwood Social did NOT miss!

The pretzel appetizer came out soft, warm, and perfectly salted—paired with that dipping sauce? Amazing.

The burnt ends BBQ with Texas toast was the star of the night. Tender, smoky, flavorful… every bite felt like comfort on a plate.

And the pizza? SO fresh, hot, and came out fast. You can literally taste the quality.

Dogwood Social is officially added to my “must return” list. Highly recommend!

Briskett was ble got 3 plates to go got home looked like 3 slices of hard bacon, Cole slaw was shredded lettuce with I don’t know sauce on it. Pork n beans should have been baked beans. Very disappointed

Went there with co-workers for a work meeting on a Wednesday night. The place was pretty empty (only two other occupied tables). But then again, it was late and no big games were going on at the time. Looks like the place would be the perfect hangout during games as they do have two huge jumbotron-sized tv’s. Luckily neither them nor the music was too loud.

Our server was very good and knowledgeable, though we were ignored once the check was paid for; No more drink refills. One of our party members had to go to the bar to refill her drink.

We must have hit the place the night before their food truck delivery because they were out of several items. Our server appeared to be just as frustrated as we were with the out-of-stock items as if she were unaware as well.

What I ordered was good (not great) but was way smaller than anticipated–especially given the price. I could have gotten something twice the size at Subway for what I paid. But, it did come with fries, which were good. Another party member said the chicken wings were dry and did not finish them. The pizza was good, however. Nice size for sharing and pretty tasty. If I come back I will have to get one of those.

After dinner several members of the party wanted to order the Sweet Tooth Skillet (one of the main convincing reasons we came that night) only to be told they did not have enough for everyone. The two who were able to get one said the cookies were burnt and not that good. They didn’t finish them. One party member ordered the Midnight Chocolate Cake but had to send it back because it had strawberries on top which she is allergic to. The menu did not indicate strawberries were included as a topping. But, the worst was the women’s restroom smelled like a sewer. Several said they had to hold their breath just to go use the restroom.

We did not try any of the games but several were disappointed to discover there was no skeeball. Lots of video games.

We were also very surprised at the lack of public-use WIFI. I’m not sure if this is normal but was surprised, nonetheless.

We liked how they stay open until midnight (which worked perfectly for our meeting–another reason we chose this place) but, ultimately, decided not to return for future meetings. Will have to try it again on my own in the future.

We hosted a corporate event here. It was a lot of fun, and the food was good. Our servers were amazing! Definitely recommend the bowling for a group.

Overall Experience – COMPLETE FAIL! Entry requires “Annual Membership” or pay be the hour ($20.00 = 1 hour). Our Team Members wanted to celebrate here, so to ensure a great “TEAM OUTBUILDING” experience, we visited first! Must join ONLINE, not in the establishment. However, once inside the Customer Service was HORRIBLE, hear me – HORRIBLE – for an Entertainment Venue. What was Worse, more than 33% of the games were broken or malfunctioning (to the knowledge of the General Manger – yet no resolve). The “Air Hockey” tables didn’t work properly (the required pieces for play, had been substituted with incompatible pieces from children’s games, so they flew off the table and hit others). The pool tables are FILTHY. The supplies to operate the venue were always unavailable or out of stock (i.e. pool chalk / NOPE, to go cups with lids/NOPE, The AI “Basket Ball Games” had mismatched balls that were not compatible, race games with metal cars / Broken, Video games / Broken, Dodge Ball Game / Broken – You Paid and only one Teams balls dropped to play, etc, etc, etc). Just an overall awful experience.

Small children might enjoy this venue, “IF” they have NEVER BEEN to other such venues, and had a great time elsewhere. Early evening, was mixed age groups. Evening, teens, tweens and families. Later, this place was joke. We were there to “Test” for “Team Building” and Business Birthday outings. DECIDED – NO WAY! The 2 Stars Awarded, because the fries were great and the well diversified menu, really had something for almost every one. Food – Awesome. Bar, again offensively filthy/ plastic adult beverage glasses were smudged (unused???) with finger prints, bar service / had to request “please wipe down bar” area from previous food melee. One Bar Team Member worked tirelessly, while his peers chatted and watched (Not a Good Corporate Message). Atmosphere – Horrible as the Staff Mostly stares at you, chatted with each other, or just stares and awaits the client to “FLAG THEM” for service requests. We came ready to spend, ready to play, ready to have a great time! We left disappointed, $100.00 lighter, full and went to another Game Venue.

If you want to go to Dogwood, the other one was better. We haven’t been in 3 years, but figured on a date night it would be fun… nope. Next time we’ll go to the one on Manchester. When we arrived we asked about the axe throwing and the girl at the front desk said that it was in the corner. Then we had to ask how much it was, she told us. We asked how we pay for it, she told us. Then when we said “okay, we want to pay” she then said “there’s people back there” okay??? How long will they be back there “an hour” is there a wait list “no.” literally acted like we were bothering her to do her job, she would have rather been on her phone or gossiping with her friends. Most places would have said “oh you haven’t been here?” and given us all the information, how to bowl, play the arcade, axe throwing, bar etc… The simple instructions of how it works. We decided to go wait for the axe throwing, but as we waited we noticed the projectors didn’t work, the boards are falling off, there is a hole in netting which is dangerous, there is no one monitoring the axe throwing… the games look run down and no one was bowling and it looks like crap, we couldn’t figure out how to work the pool table… If I was the owner, I would get everything fixed and fire most of the employees.

I know it’s a bit of a drive, but Como axe attack in Columbia MO is awesome! They monitor everyone for safety, they give instructions and tips and have multiple weapons and games to play with the axe throwing. They also have a rage room. If you have the time, it’s worth it to drive there and then go to Shakespeare Pizza.

Visited today celebrating two friends’ birthdays. Our waiter was a kind gentleman whom was on his third day on the job. All in all he did a decent job. At times a bit distant but he did ok. The food came out fairly quickly. Bar tenders were real quick to serve drinks. While there we saw many families there with kids. Definitely kid friendly with many activities for children. I liked this place better than similar types of local businesses. We’ll be back soon!

We recently stopped by on our way back home to St. Louis. I must say the pizza and the burgers we had the best this side of the Mississippi hands-down. Our server was attentive and super friendly. We will be going back even though it’s completely out of our way. It’s our new favorite spot.
