I ordered a Cheeseburger. I did ask for it well-done. The server told me it would be dry, and it’s better to get it medium/medium rare. I told her that I wanted no pink and well-done works for me. It still came out pink. It was frustrating that it was made in a way that I don’t care for. I did have some of it but couldn’t finish eating it.
My husband had a Cuban Sandwich. He seemed to like it. My daughter had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. The flavor wasn’t bad, but it was very oily. She couldn’t eat much of it because of the oil. Food presentation was decent.
As for the service, not one employee came to our table asking us if we needed anything. Had to go to the bar to order our food and drinks. There was one table there…us. Maybe 3-5 people sitting at the bar the entire night. The employees were either staying behind the bar, on the other side of the room standing around, or checking the tables for napkins, condiments, etc. We always feel that a kitchen could just be having a bad night, but if the service is good, we can forgive the food not being good. If we go back, we will not be ordering food unless the servers take care of their customers properly.
Came back for dinner and tunes because THEY BOUGHT THE SMOKERS FROM BLACK EYE PIG! And the cookies know how to use it!
I had smoked brisket, collards ( very different and great) and fries. The meal was great. Tonight the tunes were good too….Florida Rhythm Tunes. Good band.
Traveling on business so I’m not w a crowd or family but this place covers a lot of ground.
Do it, just do it!
and move around.
The night I went a truly wonderful band was playing and it was packed to the gills. The servers were very attentive and were aware that patrons needed service, without being able to hear much because of the volume of the band. It still worked.
If a popular band is playing parking will be very limited. I typically don’t fight to get into a place but found the atmosphere to be good and the crowd was, as a whole, very happy.
