This review is about a year late! But nevertheless relevant. I moved to GA in 2016 after living in the DC metro area since 2001. Loved growing up in the DMV. And my wife and I decided to go back for a visit and chose to have the last night dinner here before returning to Atlanta. The food was on point and drinks were also amazing. I had forgotten how good this place was and was very pleased to have returned! If you’re looking for some good dim light ambiance this is the place. Amazing food and even better service paired with the drinks to match! Thank you all again! And we look forward to our return trip meal again!

The crab dip had barely any crab and was extremely oily. The pretzel had 2 hairs on it.
The fish and chips entree was not good. The fries were limp. The fish batter had zero seasoning. The coleslaw was just cabbage in mayonnaise.
Our server handled our check smoothly, but the manager didn’t even come speak to us.
Also, why did you get rid of a veggie burger option? It’s 2025. The old menu was far superior.
Will not be going back. Disappointing, as this was a favorite spot before the new management.

Dogfish has become a favorite of mine, because of a high degree of consistency, in both food and service. The crab dip is great! The burgers are tasty and juicy. Definitely try both! There’s only one thing on the menu I wouldn’t order again, which is pretty remarkable! The Service staff ranges from exceptional to respectable. I’m choosing not to mention names because there the majority give prompt reliable service, more noticeable than most other restaurants, and that service extends to the food runners as well. It’s not fancy, but They know how to deliver consistent quality in both food and service.

This is a great spot. I have been here for lunch, dinner, and the occasional happy hour. I have had a great experience every time.
The staff and bartenders are great and super friendly. They have multiple levels to sit in as well as an outdoor area.
Great menu items, but my favorite is the Steak Bomb and the Thai wings. Good kids menu as well for the little ones.

We came in to eat and had an amazing experience! Kat provided outstanding service from start to finish—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The grilled wings were absolutely incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Between the great food and Kat’s excellent service, this visit really stood out. We loved everything about our experience and will definitely be back!

I was not expecting it to be as amazing as it was. Every thing we ate was delicious! The crab dip was the best I’ve had in Maryland so far. I had the steak bomb sandwich also and the steak was juicy & cooked to perfection. We are looking forward to our next visit! The server also was very on top of things! All in all wonderful

For over 15 years, my husband and I have celebrated special moments with their jambalaya. This year, our order was accidentally lost and had to be made fresh—but we didn’t mind. Andy, the manager, handled it with such genuine care, and Patrick treated us to drinks while we waited. What could have been a hassle turned into another warm memory. Thank you!!

Loved it here. Fish tacos were notably exceptional.
They had a gluten-free bun for the burger which tends to be hard to find.
Interesting draft choices and our flight was a taste experience. We chose some sour things which I didn’t like so much but that was just the choices of the day and they had lots of others.
Service was great. They accidentally gave me mashed potatoes instead of fries. Mashed potatoes were delicious but they quickly rushed back to also get me fries which were also exceptional.
Genuinely good experience.
