Docs Smokehouse is a premier establishment that consistently surpasses expectations with its exceptional food, drinks, and service. The tangy BBQ sauce is outstanding and available for purchase by the pint. Notable menu items include Loaded Texas Tots, Brisket Grilled Cheese with macaroni & cheese side, and Docs Long Island iced tea, as showcased below.

The food was delicious. The Dirty Tater Tots were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Burnt Ends were smothered (but nit too much) in delicious BBQ Sauce. The Mac N Cheese was super-creamy. The Turkey Club was good, too, though not as good as the Burnt Ends Platter.
Our server was very pleasant and checked if we needed anything multiple times. (Though, not so frequently that it was annoying.)
The atmosphere was what you’d expect from a modern, Midwestern BBQ Joint. TV’s with a bunch of different sports on, etc. The decorations on the walls were interesting and really leaned in to their Whiskey and whiskey history.
We were happy to have stopped here and will be back again, if we’re in the Dyer area!

My favorite BBQ joint. Great food! Especially love their wings. The only place in the world you can get wings like this.

I placed a order for half a slap sweet barbeque sauce two sides Mac n cheese some noodles where undercooked, some over cooked cheese sauce was thick and needed pepper, dirty rice looked burnt,it was dry and crunchy. The ribs had a thin smoke ring, they needed no sauce was very meaty and tender they tasted like a short rib and the color was gorgeous.

Stopped in for Happy Hour with the wife today. We have eaten dinner there before several times and always had a great time and great food. But today we wernt impressed at all. The Doc’s Old Fashioned was so sweet I couldn’t drink it, seemed like it was pre-made which is a laugh. I went with a Texas Mule instead and it was…O.K. but nothing special. Even with asking for light syrup it was overly sweetened and just O.K. Had a order of the wings and a cup of Brisket chili. Wings were decent sized but just blah. The seasoning was really just a crapload of seasoning salt. Yes the BBQ sauce made them better but I wouldn’t order them again. The chili was average, the brisket in it tasted more like stew meat to me. The bill was around $50. So I cant be to salty. But ill definitely not be coming back for cocktails or wings at full price lol. And btw the bartender was just absolutely horrible. I dont want to sit at the bar and hear you complain to staff about your roommates cat while my drink sits on the ledge waiting for another. And the owners really need to teach her how to make a drink. Who serves a bloody Mary with no garnish? No pickle? No celery? No olives? No blue cheese chunks? NO BACON STRIP!!?? Cmon now! Do better! Dont charge $10 for a glass of tomato juice and a shot of vodka…which my wife pointed out that it was pretty absent of said vodka. As a bartender for many years, I would gladly teach your staff on the proper way to make any of the drinks we had today, free of charge!! Please do better!

Sooooooo, we decided to order a brisket for Christmas, best decision ever! The brisket was PERFECT. Incredibly tender and packed with flavor. I honestly don’t even know how to fully describe this food experience other than mouthwatering, sensational, and phenomenal. Hands down, the best brisket I’ve ever had. Customer service is always very nice and welcoming, which just adds to the experience. If you’re looking for tender, succulent, mouthwatering, full-of-flavor smoked meat, make your way to Doc’s. You will not be disappointed!

We came here on a random whim and im so glad we went! The portion sizes are awesome and their combo meals were enough to feed the 4 of us (2 kids ages 5 and 4). They have a huge selection of beers on tap and an impressive selection of whiskey. From their sausages to turkey and brisket everything was a 10/10. Highly recommend for bbq lovers, families with little ones, or beer and whiskey lovers. Great staff and clean facilities and well. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Smoked brisket was a disappointment. You put only one nice slice on top of other slices that dried out to hide it. But the nice one had too much fat as well. The other slices had fat missing from it. For $21 bucks it was not melt in your mouth and worthless to purchase.
Beer selection are mostly FFF and local beers. pretty lame for many of us in da region where’s the good craft beer selection they used to have that was from a place far far away… Just the same ol same. No wonder this place is losing it magic it once bought people in.

Server was fantastic, she explained the menu, and recommended her favorite items. She was extremely fast, super friendly & fun! It’s nice to see in the food industry. Most servers aren’t this good. Food was delicious! My coworker & I had appetizer cheese & sausage. I will be back in, next time I’m in the area!
