I had my baby shower here on February 28th and everything turned out absolutely wonderful! We chose the brunch buffet and the food was a huge hit. Several of my friends specifically said they loved the ranch and the salad!
The space was the perfect size for our group and the views were beautiful, which made the day feel even more special. Payton was incredible to work with from start to finish. She was helpful throughout the planning process and made sure everything was set up perfectly the day of, so I didn’t have to stress about a thing.
I would absolutely recommend this venue for any special event!

Delicious food in a very nice venue! I have been there twice and the service has been great both times! I would recommend the ribs and the homemade potato chips. The shrimp appetizer was also very well prepared. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely visit again!

We were Looking for a restaurant on a lake or river and decided to try doc’s. I think we were expecting more , the roof top bar was too hot for a evening diner and with no service , you had to order at the bar. we decided to go back to the main dining area, the party room seems to take up the view we were looking for … i saw a “seafood” roll, too bad it was imitation and not the real thing, so i got the fried shrimp. it was just average, my son tried the chicken Alfredo, he said it was just “ok” … prices were average , not over the top. feels like it should be a supper club being on the water , but it’s just a diner …

Prices ranged, not too bad. But I tried the Marry Me Chicken and expected it to be better. Was expecting creamy white sauce with pieces of sun dried tomatoes. Instead it was a pink puree. Would be better with the sauce just a little different, especially at that $19 price. Soda was a fair $3 in July 2025. Mojito $8. We also tried fried shrimp-was ok. Nothing exciting. Chicken Alfredo-would say rates a 5 out of 10. Chicken dry. Alfredo Sauce not amazing. Kids mac and cheese was good. Garlic bread was good. Overall food ok, just not exciting. Service was great. View of river depends on where you sit. Unfortunately there was a group in the party room and they had closed the shades, so we didn’t get much of a view. Inside is table service. Outdoor seating upstairs is ordered from the bar.

A great choice today. Our intended destination was closed for the day, so we sat in the parking lot looking for a full meal. Doc’s had what we wanted.
Started with out Maker’s Old Fashioneds. Ordered Spicy Fried Shrimp for an appetizer. The breading is very delicate, had to scoop it up out of the spicy Sweet and Sour sauce. The breading is light, delicate and delicious, so don’t leave it behind. The sauce had a little heat which enhanced the flavor.
Sundays, they have Fried Chicken dinner special. The breading is very delicate with a light crunch, the chicken of full of flavor and juicy. Homemade Mash Potatoes and Chicken Gravy were excellent. The Vegetable medley were well seasoned and delicious.
Today’s desserts were Key Lime Cheesecake and Peanutbutter Cheesecake (my ears hear nothing after Peanutbutter is mentioned). Both were very light and fluffy.
We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Looking forward to try the Wed and Fri Fish Fry.

Upgrading my review to a well earned five stars! I’m not sure what changed in the last few years, but Docs keeps getting better. We’ve started actually going for the food instead of just convenience. The Mac and cheese is a highlight, and the burgers are awesome. Service has been consistently good every time. The second floor outdoor area is a great way to spend a warm summer afternoon.

We booked the private room at Doc’s for our rehearsal dinner. The room was perfect for our 25 guests and had plenty of room to spare. Ella was our server for the night, and she was so attentive to our guests, and made sure everyone was taken care of, all with a smile on her face. The food was incredible (pasta buffet) and very reasonably priced. We looked at other restaurants in the area and they were asking for over $1000 just for alcohol for a private party. At Docs we got appetizers, dinner, desserts and drinks for under $1000 for 25 people. We worked with Peyton to get the room booked and she was so easy to work with and helped us get everything we needed, including dietary needs. The view from the private room was incredible and the perfect backdrop for our rehearsal dinner. Overall, Doc’s was the perfect place to kick off our wedding weekend, with great food, incredible staff and amazing atmosphere for our party!

I took my wife there for her birthday. The area is very nice, we were able to enjoy going down by the Fox and wait for a table. We both ordered onion hay stack, and hamburgers, I cheated and added the hay stack onion on my burger and BBQ sauce, to my Wisconsin burger. It was simply amazing. The food was delicious . Looking forward to going back.

Had a great time enjoying a pizza with family at doc’s on the fox after spending time at the St Thomas country Fair. We loved sitting on their second story outdoor patio with an incredible view and an outdoor bar. The staff was very friendly and attentive the patio is gorgeous with plenty of sitting space and couches for relaxing but the pizza alone is a reason enough to come back it was delicious perfectly cooked and the entire family was happy we decided to stop by so I recommend you do the same if you’re looking for a great meal with a great view and also a great staff
