Fried food, I didn’t expect to be wowed. It was yummy but not delicious. Hush puppies were average. Grilled shrimp and the key lime were the best of our choices. Views made the experience better.

I have been to Dockside Seafood several times. Great location on the water with indoor/outdoor seating. It’s a casual atmosphere. You order your fresh seafood from the counter, grab a table and they bring the food to you. I’m a fan of the fried shrimp basket. Lots of shrimp, French fries, delicious hush puppies @ cole slaw. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Fresh, served in a timely manner with fair pricing. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. The parking can be a challenge because there is a public boat launch. Valet parking is also offered. There is a nice little waterfront park a short stroll from the restaurant. Great place to take the kids after lunch.

This is my favorite seafood place in Jax Beach. When we visit I make sure we hit it at least once. Everything on the menu is great all the way down to the chicken tenders.

Interested place. Order like a McDonald’s restaurant… long line with 2 registers. After that, wait in line to get your drink. Find a seat, sit down, and food is delivered to the table. Pretty good food, view of the water, boat dock if you want to take your boat, indoor and outdoor seating. The tables are a bit sticky.

Jacksonville is the place for shrimp and the Dockside is one of the hidden gems of Jacksonville shrimp restaurants. And yes, it is a little hard to find. Follow Beach Blvd, turn west on 20th, foloow the curve around to the left and keep driving as if you are going to drive into the Intercoastal Waterway. You order at the counter, sit down and they bring it to you. Next time I’ll try the fried deviled crab. Seating is at picnic tables inside a patio overlooking a marina on the Intercoastal Waterway. It was busy on a Thursday so I’ll bet it’s moreso on the weekend. I’ll be stopping here again soon.

Great seafood with an experience. The staff was very nice, from Christina at the drink station to Talon clearing tables. Nice portions for the price my son enjoyed the fried shrimp and fries. The restaurant for as busy as it was, was very clean and well kept. We will definitely return.

If you are looking for amazing clam chowder and a fantastic seafood meal- check this place out. Very casual atmosphere, on the water dining. Just be prepared to wait in line as people line up at the door to get in for the fresh catch of the day.

Shrimp Nachos, flavorful packed meal in itself.

The food is unreal! Catch of the day (trigger) was unbelievably fresh. Restaurant makes all their own sauces and sides in house. I am beyond impressed!
