1.20.26: It’s been hard to find a place that has a salad bar, so when I heard Dockside offered AYCE salad bar for $17 bucks I knew I had to check it out.

We came for lunch and it wasn’t busy at all. Our server came and took our drink order and I let her know 2 of us came for the salad bar, to which she said we could start right away. My friend ordered the Icon Burger, which is their 40th anniversary burger made with ground filet mignon. The salad bar was pretty basic, nothing extravagant, offering 2 types of lettuce, and the main staples you’d see on a typical salad, for example: tomato, cucumber, garbanzo beans, peas, red onions, shredded carrots, shredded cheeses, hard boiled eggs, olives, beets, and more. There were a couple of pasta salads, cottage cheese, and pistachio pineapple cream salad. There were 6 different salads dressings as well as oil and vinegar. What I enjoyed and appreciated is that all the ingredients were fresh–nothing looked old or wilted. My friend really enjoyed his filet mignon burger and said the fries were perfectly cooked and had a great season. I included a picture description of his yummy burger.

We all know I love dessert, so I ordered one of their signature “Gooeys,” the Magical Unicorn Gooey and boy was I in for a crazy magical treat lol. It was all my 8-year-old heart could have imagined and more! My friend ordered the Skillet Cookie and his mom got the Mountain Berry Cobbler. I will say every dessert ordered could have easily been shared between 2-3 people and all were really delicious. I’m trying not to write so much, something I’m also known for, so check out the picture descriptions of what we had.

I will definitely be back for breakfast as I want to try their Lemon Berry Pancakes, Bubble Crepes, and Falafel Benedict.

Hubby and I were in town for Dr appointments. Decided to try out the restaurant part ( usually enjoy the 21 and up section) since it was cold and Rainey outside. Atmosphere was bright and clean , nice view of the lake. But to be honest if you don’t have kids with you I’d prefer outside sitting when the weather permits. Not because of the service just the noise level. Hubby and I were seated by a group of 10 with probably 5 kids and heaping serving of desert goodness! Obviously maybe why they were so noisy but not really the restaurants fault. Although I would suggest not sitting a couple by a group like that. We love ordering the calamari, steak endless buffet salad and blueberry cobbler was perfect on that rainy day! Service was great. Did not have to wait for water/ drink refills. If you are not staying at the hotel totally fine too. You can still valet your car for convenience. Will definitely come back !

We went for my birthday and the food was wonderful, as always. We got their seasonal gooey (apple pie edition) and it had pie filling, crunchy bites, caramel, donut bites, vanilla & cinnamon ice cream. They gave me a complimentary little sundae for my birthday too. Their French dip was amazing! I am very particular with dips because I don’t want them to be soggy, and this one was A+. Highly recommend.

I wanted to add: I’ve had their clam chowder many times and it’s phenomenal!!

Dockside Restaurant is an absolute gem! Everything was top-notch: the food was insanely delicious, and the presentation? A total feast for the eyes! I love when dishes look like art, and they nailed it here. The menu on tablets with pictures is genius — you see exactly what you’re getting, which is rare for restaurants and a huge win for me since I’m all about “eating with my eyes.” Our server (a guy, total rockstar!) was super professional, friendly, and made the night special. The vibe is cozy, stylish, with that gorgeous lake view — pure bliss! I’m already excited to come back and will recommend Dockside to everyone. You guys stole my heart!

We had a wonderful dinner tonight celebrating birthdays! The food was amazing, the dessert was absolutely delicious, and the view of the restaurant was just beautiful. Our server, Tabbitha, was so sweet and kind—she really made our night extra special.

I ordered the Salmon Oscar, which was really good (I’m just not a big fan of sauce, but that’s just me). Dockside Restaurant is highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back!

I’d have liked to give more stars as the food was decent and atmosphere and the view was excellent. However the server was not. She kept coming back every 10 minutes to check on us. While we were still having our lunch she asked if we want dessert and we said no. She then left us the check, while I still had the whole salad plate and half of my lunch to finish. After that she still kept coming back every 5 minutes to check on us (to push us to leave). Then we left. Wish I’d have asked her name so that I could put it here. I also wish I’d not give her the tip.

I have been wanting to eat at Dockside for several years now. My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary here today and I was not disappointed. Great food, service and open restaurant with great views.

Food is overpriced, and just alright, especially the gooeys. Do not order a small gooey. It is only $2 cheaper than a regular gooey, yet it is 1/3 the size, according to the waitress. They won’t put the price on the menu for the small size because they are “phasing them out”, however for $14 for a small cup of ice cream, don’t bother. Plus, it is overly sweet, so only order if you have a sweet tooth. We also ordered the babaganoush, and it is covered in olives, so be aware before ordering if you aren’t a fan of olives. The salmon appetizer was good but a bit on the salty side. I probably won’t be returning because it just isn’t worth the money. There are other restaurants with better tasting food.

The best weekend Brunch. Food is great and prices are very very reasonable. Price is not indicative of quality and value… but it wasn’t much more than Denny’s… but 5x better at so many levels!

Dockside is very romantic for a special occasion or just a nice night out with close friends or family. The shrimp scampi is delicious and I absolutely loved the huckleberry lemonade. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the boardwalk and you can take a romantic walk after your meal.
