We were really looking forward to brunch at Dockside Kitchen, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype. We waited over 45 minutes just to be seated, and then more than an hour for our food to arrive. While our waitress was sweet, the whole experience felt dragged out.

We ordered the Lobster Benedict, which arrived cold and looked nothing like the photos I’d seen online or what others had posted. Presentation and taste both missed the mark. The soft shell crab sandwich was also underwhelming—dry and lacking in meat.

Really wanted to like this place but for the wait and the price, it just wasn’t worth it.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Didn’t arrive until about 11:30 AM. There’s plenty of parking in the lot next to the restaurant. This restaurant is right on the Bay not the ocean. Has a decent view of the bay but does have a children’s floating gym on the water behind the restaurant so you do have that as part of your view. For breakfast, we ordered the breakfast burrito, which is supposed to be one of their specialties as well as The avocado BLT. Both pictures below. Both breakfasts were pretty good. I do believe this restaurant is known for their lobster eggs Benedict. Did not have it, but I believe the price was $26. Service was pretty good.

Delicious meal! Loved sitting right along the waterfront and seeing the morning wildlife and the early boats departing. Ask about the specials, they can be extra tasty when they are pineapple foster French toast!! Omelette was good too, we recommend adding cheese

Our out-of-state guest & a few family members revisited here last week knowing we’d enjoy their consistent basic seafood lunch entrees. Our server was a delight and efficient.
We did not expect to be part of an Alfred Hitchcock setting with seagulls flying inside pecking at the tables around us. Ewww!
Birds carry & drop lots of bacteria, virus’s, parasites from their wings and other body parts as they flap & peck. Gulls are called “flying rats” for a reason.

Eating hurriedly & left knowingly a handful of public health violations were broken. Hunger will cause the mind to make poor decisions I suppose. With spare napkins, I semi-covered the plate to quickly enjoy a good crab cake.

Dockside management: staple gun the clear wire back up. It isn ‘t an expensive fix.

Never, ever feed seagulls.

Great place for breakfast, Brunch, and lunch! We had the fish and shrimp tacos which were incredibly delicious!! Kids went to the water park and we were able to sit and eat while watching them play in the water park! Staff was pretty friendly even with the crazy busy crowd! Been here a second time now and totally enjoy the vibe on the Bay in the early afternoon! Thank you!!

I always have absolutely fantastic experience at Dockside. This charming breakfast spot deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Their breakfast sandwiches are out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. The ingredients are top-notch, and you can tell they put real care into every dish. The cozy, laid-back vibe combined with the delicious food and stellar service makes Dockside a must-visit for anyone in Ocean City. I can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve been following them on Instagram since they opened, and finally experiencing it in person lived up to all my expectations! The food, the service (Catherine, you’re fabulous!!) and the vibe were all exactly right. Bonus – their coffee mugs are also perfect. We will absolutely be back soon.

Came here on the weekend for brunch and had a great time. Dockside offers lovely outdoor seating by the docks (hence the name). The portions are perfect and delicious. This is definitely a great place to visit over and over on days where the weather is clear

I was so excited to try this new place, and I was not disappointed! We went for a mid-morning breakfast over Labor Day weekend. It was overcast, but fortunately the entire dining area/deck is covered with an awning. The deck isn’t huge, and they really tried to get as many tables in there, so it was a little tight, but this only bothered me as I was walking to/from our table; not while we were eating. I ordered the Lobster Benedict, and I was amazed at how huge the pieces of lobster were. They don’t skimp! I would order it again, but I would ask for it without the tomatoes, because I think it watered it down and lost some flavor. My husband ordered the Blueberry Pancakes, which came with four gigantic pancakes! He ate almost two of them, and took the rest home. The fresh squeezed orange juice was good too! Right now, they are just serving breakfast and lunch, but I heard the plan is to start dinner next summer. I hope this is true! I love having a place in town to dine on the water!

Excellent breakfast menu. I had lobster avocado toast. I had a mountain of very good tomatoes & claw meat. Spouse has short ribs toast. He had a mountain of tender meat. Coffee was nice & bold. Update Sept 2021 we still love the Dockside Cafe. All meals were good: quiche of the day is 2 big slices. Short rib today is excellent & so it’s short rib Benedict.
