We had a group of 12 people show up after a day of hiking nearby. We were told our group was too big and weren’t allowed to eat there. It was around 6 so it’s not like we showed up right before closing .
We told staff we were okay eating at separate tables if needed. They didn’t seem to care. I got the feeling they didn’t like we were from out of town.
Definitely would not recommend

What a Great Spot. Dont pass through Ottawa without going over to enjoy this cafe/tavern on the river you’ll thank me for writing this. What a Great Place im so happy we stopped. Really neat riverside bar and grill. Tasty appetizers and good views. Just got some snacks and drinks after a day of hiking. The restaurant and bar is on the second floor, the server said they open the main level during live music events. Was a relaxing way to spend an hour before heading home.
