We usually visit the Doc Ford’s location on the St. Pete Pier, but with the race going on this weekend a friend recommended we try this location — and we’re so glad we did! It was just as great, maybe even better in some ways.
There was plenty of parking, which was a huge plus, and the waterfront view is absolutely beautiful. You can choose to sit inside or outside by the water, and the patio had such a relaxing tropical vibe.
The service was incredible, and the whole experience felt welcoming and fun. They even had live music on the weekend, and the guitarist walked around playing for guests. It didn’t feel awkward at all — it actually added to the atmosphere and made the whole experience feel really special.
We had such a great time enjoying the patio and the view. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for great food, great service, and an awesome waterfront atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Staying very close by for an extended vacation, thought we would give Doc’s a try. Parking lot always seemed busy. So we went right at 6:00 pm and we were able to get to bar seats in the open air seating upper deck. The bar servers were super helpful and friendly. We could see the beautiful sky at sunset while having a glass of wine. Ordered grouper strips, that was their fish and chips. Was not disappointed, were very tasty and had a nice portion of fresh grouper, light on the batter.
My wife had the fish tacos which had lots of shrimps. Nicely seasoned not to spicy and cabbage salad came with both meals.
We definitely will be back for Happy Hour!

We had great service and great food last night! I had the Cuban sandwich with rice and beans and it was delicious. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. The water is so beautiful!
We normally go to their location at the Pier but this location was great, too!
Love that they have some booths to sit in because that works the best for our toddler.

Imagine on Valentines day, getting steak at a seafood restaurant & being pleasantly suprised!! The Dry rub ribeye was perfection! Clam chowder was flavorful & not salty or overpowering. Drinks are “sneaky” and well blended. Service was A1 (yes, a pun). If your in this area, I HIGHLY recommend visiting!

No matter which Doc Fords location we go to, they always deliver high quality, fresh, delicious food (and beverages!) with great service. This location in Jungle Terrace is amazing. The dining room is cozy with comfortable decor. If you’re a sports fan there are several TVs around, but not so many it feels like a sports bar. The outdoor deck and patio is awesome – it’s on the water, live music, and has such a fun vibe.

It’s impossible for us to not get the Yucatán shrimp, it’s easily one of our favorite meals in Pinellas. We bring our friends and family from out of town to Doc Ford’s here and on the Pier and everyone is obsessed with the Shrimp. The need to sell the sauce in the bottles like they used to!
The service is always pleasant and timely, the staff is always approachable. They stay busy so expect a wait during busy nights. Beers are somewhat expensive but they have a big range of mixed drinks that are fun and unique.

Awesome spot! We sat in the lower covered patio area. They have patio heaters available if chilly. Wednesday and Sunday’s they have live music, solo artist. He was awesome, walked around table to table and played.
We had the mussels, and stone crabs claws. Both totally delicious ! I got chicken wings Togo, delicious as well. I’ll surely be back again!

Our first time visiting, we’re pescatarians for the most part and their seafood offerings is central to the menu. We got the fish sandwiches, grouper and halibut I believe. Both were delicious. Loved the conch chowder as well, Manhattan style. Great selection of cocktails and draft beers, the former were poured quite strong so you get your money’s worth in booze. Prices overall were quite reasonable for the atmosphere (live music), quality and service. We had Ninah, who did wonderfully so the service issues noted here must be history or spotty. Forgot photos of the food but the one included is of the view from our table.

This is by far one of the best restaurants in the St Pete, Madeira Beach areas. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere wonderful and the staff from start to finish was fabulous. A big kudos to “Shay” who knows and take care of her customers and is a big asset to the restaurant. Will definitely be back.
