Charlie, the bartender is an experience you need to experience.
10/10 would recommend,for the time you get a drink if she looks at you just nod and it’s a fare trade, money for beer.
The food, as long as you don’t special request a order to the extreme, is amazing and is vary quick

Love Hanks Bar , Excellent food and Great Drinks.
I was craving Tacos and Pizza so to compromise and I decided on the Taco Pizza w/jalapeños.
Comes with Sour Cream and salsa.
Totally Amazing, it was a Masterpiece.
Hanks whole menu is amazing, especially the Burgers .
Friday Fish fry it Top of the Line Yummy.
Funny Happy service and great people.
Definitely a must stop.

We are lifetime locals to the Somerset and stopped at this bar as part of a birthday party bus route. Our group of 14+ all ordered drinks and minded our business on the patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the bartender was a very friendly lady. After leaving the bar I received a message through Facebook from the bar owner asking me if I was part of the party bus group. I answered yes and asked why I was being asked this question. The owner then insinuated that our group of keyed a truck in the parking lot. It is hard for me to ever write a bad review about a local business because as locals we love to see restaurants succeed in town. The actions taken by the owner feels like a complete violation of privacy, he used my personal debit card information to track me down through Facebook and ask if I was part of the party bus because a vehicle got keyed in the parking lot. All of it feels shady and we are not comfortable returning unfortunately.

Love this place! Its a hidden gem, if you are hungry/thirsty and driving through, I highly recommend you stop in for one or two . The owner is very nice and great staff.

Your breakfast was super good!! Finally made it there and it was really busy with bingo with 1 person doing it all! It was a wait but a good time.. We were all bartenders at one time and we know how busy it can be. One in our group took our orders, sitting at the bar with our others so we can call in our drink orders to her and she ordered at the bar with others to the bartender, which she(bartender) brought our food when it was ready and it worked out great for us. Next time though, we’re coming on a Saturday so we can talk louder and get to know this great bartender!!

My husband, daughter & I walked in & found a table to sit at. We waited for 10 minutes without a server coming over to us before my husband went to the bar to get a menu. He got us menus & came back to our table. We waited another 10 minutes & no one ever came over to ask for our drink order or tell us we needed to order at the bar… nothing. So we left. No reason to go back.

I went there with my 1 and 1/2-year-old grandson. We did get the apple juice, my drink, and tater tots quickly. But that’s where it stopped. We waited and waited and waited and no one ever came back to see what we wanted to eat. My grandson ate almost the whole basket of tater tots because that is all we had to eat. Finally a different waitress came, very nice and sympathetic, and asked if we needed anything. I explained my frustration and asked for a burger and fries to go. It is not easy trying to keep a toddler entertained at a restaurant. He was wiping ketchup in my face and in my hair and I really did not care because it kept him quiet. Also, The bill was $33. One apple juice, one drink, order of tater tots, and a burger and fries to go. What a rip off. Never again!
