I got the 2pc fish dinner around the time school was getting out. It was some children in there eating there D’lish food and they liked it too. The Whiting was Good! Green beans spectacular! However, the cabbage left a lot to be desired. I didn’t like it. May I suggest instead big slices of Cabbage, cut it in thin lines and try a new seasoning(s) to maybe give it a better taste.

This food had no seasoning whatsoever. The best item I received was the yams! I ordered the wing dinner with lima beans, potato salad, and yams. Although the menu says the chicken is cooked to order, that chicken was not even crispy and it had no taste but the measeley salt they put on after the fact! It’s like they took the chicken, cleaned it, and didn’t add any seasoning until after it came out the fryer. What’s the point of seasoning the food beforehand when you have no intention of seasoning it until the last second. Pointless. That is the most crucial part in the flavor process, and this was clearly missed. Not only that, the lima beans were crunchy, and that potato salad was not even mediocre, it was less than! I even had an upset stomach and my throat swelled up afterwards. There are by far better soul food restaurants in the area, but this was most definitely a waste of food and money.

You wanna be happy that you made the right decision come here frfr!! I normally just get the chicken sandwich from here but this time I had got the turkey wing dinner. I like my food a little darker then others but At first I didn’t like how the turkey wing looked she said that’s ok we’ll cook it to perfect and let me tell you she did.. everything was phenomenal the mac the rice with gravy n My God that cornbread moist!!!!! Y’all ain’t gotta go imma keep going

What can I say….well ☺️ ONLY THING THAT COMES TO MIND IS THE FACT I’M HAPPY,FULL AND SATISFIED! THIS IS MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN ATLANTA! When I recommend this place to anyone…I always tell them…that you’re going to feel like you’re invited to an cookout….where it’s family, friends, good eating & relaxing music! My friends and I were looking for somewhere different to have lunch when we happened upon D’lish. This small, intimate restaurant has some of the best soul food I’ve had in a while. The food was flavorful and the customer service was great. The experience was like going to your aunt’s house for Sunday dinner. Will definitely return.

Stopped by for lunch. The food looked amazing. I ate half the turkey wing and cornbread muffin before leaving. As I arrived home my family told me the food smelled rancid and to throw it out. The service was great and I would like to give this place another try. Next time I will order a cook to order entree instead of choosing from the steam trays.
