D’jais Oceanview Bar and Cafe was on point. I rolled in looking for some good food (and possibly check out the nightlife scene). There wasn’t much going on (no dancing… no dj digging in the crates).
A few people were chilling and watching a few football games. The small crowd was welcoming. I got my grub on. After all, iI visited this place on a Sunday night, in the beginning of November. (Summer weather and vibe was already a distant memory.).
Regardless, I wasn’t disappointed. D’jais Oceanview Bar and Cafe’s food, service, and atmosphere were good. Hopefully, I will experience what this place is like, when the dance floor is bumping. I heard great things about D’jais Oceanview Bar and Cafe, while I was chilling there. Now, I have to figure out the ideal time to revisit this bar. Blessings!

This is the best place in the world. If you don’t think this is the best place in the world, I can’t relate to you. D’Jais is a figment of our imagination, it’s a place where anything could happen at any time, you never know what your experience will bring. I’ve dedicated about a decade of my life to this place and I hope I have brought D’Jais the same joy it has brought me. I met my bf here, my roommate here, my best friends here, etc. Long live the greatest jersey shore bar of all time

The view of Belmar beach – directly across the road – is fantastic. Sitting outside on the deck on a beautiful day during “local summer” is divine. The staff are friendly and attentive, the cocktails potent and the food quite acceptable (much better than standard “bar fare”).

Stopped here on vacation in Belmar. Waited for quite some time before a hostess appeared, was able to get outdoor seating, which was nice, as it is right off the beach. The food was okay, not really remarkable ( I got a grilled chicken sandwhich). It was pricey for two people (we each had two frozen drinks as well as our sandwiches), and the total before the tip was $94, which was steep for a rather disappointing sandwich (super basic, not much flavor, and came on a bland hoagie roll). The atmosphere was nice, however, and while we didn’t get to stay for the band, there was live music and I get the impression that the night life would be decent. I would probably stop in and have a drink (the frozen sunset daiquiri was DELICIOUS) but I dont know if i would grab food again.

fun place except they’re very selective with their dress code that isnt stated online. got turned away twice for ripped jeans then jean shorts, but saw several groups wearing the same things and they were let in. no big deal but heres the dress code for anyone trying to go in the future.

I was here today and ordered the Greek Salad. The salad was enough for two people! It was awesome! What great girls that work here and took the time to engage in small talk. This particular girl was sweet as pie. (It was early afternoon) thank you D’Jais for another great meal. Keep it up and never change.

Here From North Carolina, when visiting D’Jais for some food and drinks with friends. we were unsure which entrance we could enter through. We decided to ask the security guard who has his back towards one of the entrances. He didn’t hear our question if we could enter through this side based off his response with a “what” and a discussed bothered look on his face as he was on his phone and we had interrupted his social media time. As we asked again if we can come through this side or is there another entrance we have to go through his response was “yeah” with an eye roll and his back still toward the entrance. He then went back to his phone. Scrolling through social media not a great impression for someone who’s never been there. The waitress was amazing attentive, polite, and informative.

Enjoyed the last day of Jersey shore I was actually surprised how good it was the music is always awesome crowds little crazy but it’s always a good time and the beach in Belmar is amazing.
I really going here on theme night Thursdays I haven’t gone for a while but if anybody hasn’t gone and they need a good place to go on Thursday it’s always a good time!
And Friday and Saturday it’s great but just too crowded it also good on Sunday… actually one of my favorite days to go because it’s not that crowded and there’s still great music it’s just the chiller spot compared to most days.

It’s a Jersey shore classic. Club music at any time. Inside and outside area. A few bars, some random games. I wanted a cute Barbie themed D’jais shirt I saw a worker wearing, but I didn’t see it for sale. Cash only at the bars and for the cover. There is a restaurant attached to it as well that has a nice view of the beach but I am sure most people come for the music and dance party.

I had the streak sandwich it’s nothing crazy it’s a steak full of fat I added mozzarella cheese is was super hard
A few people in my party got those fish sandwich’s they said there not good
Your better off getting a fish filet from McDonalds
Pizza isn’t good trust me don’t get it
My hands are filled with oil from the food
The one young kid hates his job looks at me and rolls his eyes
D’jais may look like a better atmosphere than Mamalukes but trust me your better off going to mamalukes
And 200 for junk is crazy
