Sweet roadside spot in Woodstock/the Catskills. Love the building, so we had to stop in for a mid-afternoon local beer and some fries. Both great! One improvement would be to teach the servers about the local products served. I feel they were under informed and under enthusiastic but definitely friendly. We were there after lunch and before dinner so it was not crowded. Great prices and atmosphere.

I love this place! I love the building and the design. I love BBQ but more so the sides and not so much the protein however Everything is delicious. It’s not on the main street in Woodstock, which I am so happy about. You don’t have the constant hustle and bustle. Vibe is great!

Stopped by because the food sounded delicious based on the menu. We had the buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn bread. As well as the Dixon burger with fries and Mac and cheese.

Food was decent just didn’t like that there was peanuts on my sandwich and the menu didn’t specify they would be on it. Not good if someone has an allergy. Otherwise it was good. Nice staff

Don’t get the brisket. It was like gray and flavorless. Even with the spicy mustard, it was inedible. The only decent part of the meal was the steak fries. My husband’s fish was okay but the collard greens were also without flavor.

Very friendly staff, but the food is nowhere near the caliber of the Phoenicia Diner (same owners). We tried Dixon about 2 years ago and weren’t impressed – decided to give it another shot tonight via takeout. The food is just okay; definitely recommend dining in person rather than getting something to go. The pork had a very strong soy sauce taste and was dried out in certain places, as if it was being reheated all day. Unfortunately this second experience wasn’t enough to make me want to return.

Nice enough. Hamburger thick and well prepared medium rare. But too lean! Not very beefy. Roll looks artisan and good. But very light fluffy tasteless and dry. But I haven’t had a good burger in a long time. Nice place. Interesting sides and desserts and very nice staff. Outside and inside dining.

Really friendly and excellent service. We got the brisket, grilled mahi mahi, and an ice cream sundae. The brisket w the ancho bbq sauce was delicious and so tender that you could pull it apart with your fork. The mahi mahi was well-seasoned and also cooked perfectly.
