We come here every year when we’re in town for soccer tournaments, they are very popular, so you need to plan ahead! Use the website to order pizzas online for the time you want, they open at 11am, so we get online and order our dinner pizza. They only have a certain number of slots available per hour because it’s a wood fire pizza oven. The margarita pizza is great, and the Italian cowboy and Sicilian. Our absolute favorite is the dessert pizza with Nutella and fresh raspberries and frosting, but it’s messy so bring wipes!

What a great idea. I drove by twice while visiting Zion and had to stop before I left town. Ordered a Veggie pizza and lemonade. Both were so delicious. The people working Saturday were fantastic. They were very friendly and worked fast to get my pizza. The cheese pull on that first slice was incredible. The crust is more thin which I really enjoy. Still thick enough to hold all that cheese and toppings they load on there. Got a strawberry cream lemonade. It was fantastic and it comes in a soup quart type of cup with that good lid! So glad I made sure to stop in while I was there

You know that feeling when you’re driving through what feels like the middle of nowhere and you stumble upon something so good it feels like a mirage?
That’s Dixie Pizza Wagon for me. Tucked on the side of the road in Hurricane, UT, this little pizza paradise is a true find. Who would’ve ever thought some of the most incredible wood-fired pizza I’ve ever had would be found on a wagon in Southern Utah? It’s the kind of place that makes a road trip worth it.

The moment you walk up, you can tell this isn’t your average pizza joint. The staff is genuinely friendly and passionate about what they do. They’re happy to chat and make recommendations, and their positive energy is contagious. You can see them preparing the pizzas with what are clearly the freshest ingredients. The vibrant colors of the vegetables and the quality of the meats are a testament to their commitment to making a top-notch pie.

While everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, the one I keep coming back for is the Chicken Bacon Ranch. It’s an absolute game-changer. The crust has that perfect wood-fired char and chew, the ranch isn’t overpowering, and the chicken and bacon are cooked to perfection. It’s a flavor explosion that is a must-try for any first-timer. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re anywhere near Hurricane, do yourself a huge favor and stop at Dixie Pizza Wagon. It’s a culinary experience you won’t soon forget!

The way I ran to put up my review…BEST pizza in Utah, hands down! My Philly husband was a little skeptical but after that first bite chefs kiss! The amount of sauce on the pizzas is a perfect ratio to the toppings. We ordered 4 pizzas.
3 cheese- love the feta addition, adds a tiny bit of saltiness but this pizza is packed with flavor
The Sicilian- That Italian sausage is delicious, reminds me of back east.
Margherita Pizza- Mozzarella block is fresh, basil and sauce was the perfect combo.
Pepperoni- Classic, simple and tasty!

If we are ever out in St. George again, Pizza Wagon is a must stop.

BEST pizza I’ve ever tried in my life! It was so incredibly delicious, the crust was amazing, the flavor was amazing. Perfectly cooked pizza, super cool location! We got cheese/half mushroom, and the Greek Pizza! So amazing! Recommend to call before arriving to order your pizza in advance.

We have been going to the Pizza wagon for over 10/ years now. When it was just a dad and his kids running it in parking lot with a couple of plastic benches. This truly used to be a hidden gem, One of the best pizza places in Utah if not the country. Looks like the original family sold the business. Now it’s the same old story. The quality has decreased significantly while increasing the prices. The crust used to be fluffy, airy and bubbly, now it’s flat underwhelming. The sauce used to be homemade and flavorful. Now it feels like it’s it’s store-bought and bland. Also, they to use to have a different sauce. (Fresh and sweet) for the margarita pizza now., looks like they use the same sauce for all the pizzas. Don’t just take my word for it. Look at my pictures. Lucky I took some pictures back in the day and compared them to the ones we had today. The difference is night and day. We would genuinely look forward to having pizza for the pizza wagon. Now I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back again. So disappointing and heartbreaking

I have tried just about every high rated pizza place in the state from northern to southern UT. By far the best experience you will have putting pizza in your mouth in the state. The owner is a real stand up guy. Make sure you place your order online and get a confirmation before picking up as this place is very busy and sought after!!

A 2 hour wait, no sweat. $50 for 2 high quality pizzas and a couple custom lemonades, you got it.

Lemonades were amazing, watching the employees work a fun gag, having options for other trucks to supplement our meal with a dessert, amazing.

Food and drink is high quality, worth the wait. The reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because if a consumer is willing to wait 2 hours for their food, it’s on you as a business to make damn sure their order is correct. Granted I’ll admit I’m partially at fault for not checking before I left, but if the receipt matched I trusted that after that amount of time our meal would be so worth the wait.

Wrong. All the way to our house and had to revisit them a third time to wait again to have the order corrected.

Take this review with a grain of salt though. Pizza was incredible, lemonade refreshing, and everything about the experience was damn near perfect.

I’m very sad to have been let down on our date night.

Thanks for reading.

I used to come here every week last summer at the old location with the previous owners.

I’m happy to say the new location is better, the online pre-ordering is better, and the pizza is pretty much just as good as before (and I’m picky), and the new lemonades are a great addition to the menu.

Recent reviewers seem to be upset about the price increases, but frankly they seem necessary. The previous owner was undercharging and had cheap labor from family members. The new owners have more staff, pay them better, and have a nicer location. Also, food costs have gone up a *lot* in the last couple of years. Since they didn’t want to switch to cheaper ingredients, something had to give.

Still great pizza, just not dirt cheap anymore. I’ll be back regardless.

This is a great authentic wood fire pizza spot. Seemed like it was family owned and operated. All 9 pizza’s were very flavorful.
