The British lady was lovely and checked on us and was so sweet to my son with special needs. The homemade food was fresh and hot and.that peanut butter pie was devoured by my son. Dixie 2 is definitely worth a.weeknight visit and portions so generous my son and I shared a plate and no one minded. A homemade meal for less than the price of a McDonald’s meal each…. priceless

My 1st time was today…got the meatloaf it was very good so we’re the vegs but I had to ask but had the banana pudding and o m g I could taste my late grandmother’s pudding…that 1st taste i could tell none of it came from a box…you cant find that taste just anywhere…reminded me so much of my grandmother’s banana pudding….I will be back and yall need to try them…thanks again for the memories yall brought back for me…wonderful place.

We had one of the best meals today. We all ordered the calabash chicken. I ordered fried okra, pinto beans with onions on the side. Macaroni & cheese pie that was melt in your mouth. Cornbread & Sweet iced tea with lemon. Banana Pudding could have been a little better, but it was still on point. My daughter ordered the same thing minus the banana pudding. My granddaughter ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese pie calabash chicken. Our waitress was nice, our tea and water glasses stayed filled. We had a great time.
