My Wife and I ate lunch today (8/10/15) at Dixie. I ordered the 2 meat special and she ate the pulled pork sandwich. Having eaten there on Fathers Day with my son this meal was just as good.
The ribs came dry (without sauce) as did the pulled pork. My brisket sandwich on the previous visit also came dry. Sauces are available on the table for the patrons to apply as they see fit. You will not need it for the meal. Great taste is cooked into the meat and the sauces are complementary.
Portions are generous and the fries have a special crispness. Cole slaw and cornbread are not to be missed as side items. We brought quite a bit home to enjoy later.
Good food, large portions and very friendly staff make for a great meal.

Crazy good! The second you walk in, the scent of woods more hits you like a feather pillow. This is the real deal barbeque. I had a brisket sandwich and a side of fries, and the brisket was tender and smoky and the fries were crispy and fresh. Everything was awesome! Go here if you get a chance!

Was there Saturday 10-10-15. Unfortunately I was not impressed. The lady at the counter was rude. We ordered the little dixie, the ribs were very tough, chicken was dry, fries were nothing special, but the pulled pork was good. My opinion, Famous Dave’s is much better. Tried to go there a few weeks ago and they were closed for no apparent reason in the middle of the day.
