Delicious food and great service. Their buffet is reasonably priced with a good variety of dishes. Starting with appetizers they have chaat and pani puri station. They have both options vegetarian and non vegetarian in their buffet. Their saag paneer and tandoori chicken tastes awesome as well as the other dishes. Kheer ( rice pudding) is pretty good as well.Overall a good value for money. They give pretty good portions if you order something from the regular menu. Garlic naan is soft and full of flavor. The service is great and the staff is very welcoming!

Visited this restaurant for the first time with family. The ambience was cozy with a range of sitting options. Coming to food, I must mention that the quantity was more than enough for 2 people, taste though not exceptional but way better than most Indian restaurants. The sizzling hot Gilafi kebab was definitely the show stopper followed by Chicken tikka masala, Goat biriyani and garlic nan.Would love to visit in the future too.

One of the best Indian restaurants in NY. Cozy vibes inside with friendly helpful staff. I’ve been coming here for a few years now. All their food is absolutely amazing. We’ve celebrated many birthdays here. This is the type of place you like to spend your hard-earned money.

One of many great Indian restaurants in the Hicksville area. The food here is excellent and wonderfully delicious. They also have a buffet as well which is a great value for the price which I will be back for. My wife and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Badam Korma. We also had the chilli garlic naan and rosemary naan. The rosemary naan was a perfect pairing of flavors with the Chicken Korma. My only complaint was that there was an over abundance of rosemary on the naan. Otherwise everything was great.

We go to Diwan at least once a week for a casual lunch. Parking is never a problem. The food is consistently good and the staff is attentive and very nice. We always have a quiet, relaxed meal at there and we don’t feel rushed or crowded. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to a few Indian restaurants and I have to say this is my favorite one because they use so many spices in their food and they have so much flavor that it keeps me coming back. The waiters are very nice and attentive. They have many dinner options, especially if you’re vegetarian definitely a much try, this place gets a 10 from me.

After about a 10 year hiatus of being a regular at their lunch buffet (no negative reason i stopped going, just been busy), I recently returned to the buffet. (on a weekday. Changes to order in after 3:30pm). The food is gourmet, scrumptious, & delicious. The quality is great & fresh, better than what you’d expect from a typical buffet. The prices are fair, considering the food is high quality & all you can eat. The non bread used to be included with the buffet price, & now you have to order them extra for $5 a basket. I read reviews complaining about them charging extra for bread, but they kept the overall prices fairly low, while other restaurants got expensive after COVID due to inflation. Overall, you’re missing out if you never tried this buffet. It’s very addictive. I’m just disappointed that they stopped offering the honey balls for dessert at the buffet, they stated since after COVID. I also recall that the samosas used to be always part of the buffet, but they were not there on the recent weekday i went, after a long hiatus. I cannot specifically recall if any other buffet choices were removed, since it’s been 10 years. They should at least bring those 2 aforementioned choices back.

A lovely evening was spent at this restaurant. I went with my family and enjoyed nice food, great service and a good atmosphere. The prices were reasonable and the servings were large. Would definitely recommend and personally go again!
