The dosa was the star for me: paper-thin, perfectly crispy, and served with chutneys and sambar that tasted unbelievably fresh. Every dish we tried was layered with spice and aroma without ever being overwhelming.
Service is warm and welcoming, and the staff really cared about explaining dishes and helping us choose. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is cozy without feeling crowded. The owner, who is incredibly passionate about sharing the flavors she loves, is so kind and attentive.
Whether you’re craving comfort food, exploring new flavors, or dining with a mixed group of dietary preferences, this place nails it. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for my husband‘s birthday and tried some new things which all were a hit.
– Goat chukka dry: Mild spicy, goat was excellently cooked to the point of shredding
– Shrimp curry leaf masala: a little bland to our liking. Could be spiced up a lot with crushed black pepper, and shallow fried onions
– Egg dosa: nice texture, the egg is noticeable, batter felt fresh, chutneys and sambar were above average
– Spicy Bullet Naan: generous dose of butter, soft, and tasty
Street parking can be challenging to find based on time of the day / week.
Overall, works as an option to come back, but likely wouldn’t go out of my way to repeat.
Also the music here is so beautiful, full old Indian songs – reminds me of home every time.
All of our guests kept asking where the food was from because they loved it so much. Everything arrived on time, perfectly prepared, and made the event feel extra special. Highly recommend Diwali for anyone looking for top-notch Indian catering!
Also the rice was insanely good idk how they did that it’s better than normal rice. I don’t have the vocabulary To describe how delicious this was! The ambience of the restaurant was perfect. Dim lights and chatter, it feels like the perfect cozy dinner environment. Also amazing service!!! Go support this new wonderful restaurant
I’ll still come again but hope they can customize atleast 2 or 3 dishes for people who can’t eat spicy food so I don’t need to get yogurt or mango lassi on side
