I found this place near by a local hang out…seems peaceful gives a tranquil feeling after you work you want to relax…they have a mixture of cocktail drinks and yes you are paying for the best of the drink they serve and prep for you some may take longer on a busy night but they do make it right to your standards…and you do have to try the food menu everyone gets hungry on end in awhile…so to get that right catch of the day ordered tonight from the menu calamari was the choice and you can’t go wrong the breading wasn’t too much…you get the sauce and a lemon to squeeze for that deep ocean breeze of a feeling you are in state. So come one come all they will take care of what your out to catch in that sea. Service keeps you coming back for another catch of the day some items on the menu are seasonal.

My family and I were on vacation from Montana to Sarasota. We stumbled upon the Dive after several failed attempts to find a decent bar (due to cigarette smoke ) and we found this gem. We just love it. James, Michael and Cole hooked us up with the best craft cocktails and at a fraction of our costs in Montana. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely keep coming back. Ask Michael about his custom tequila cocktail my daughter loved it, you will not be disappointed ! And I think perhaps I have found the best Old Fashioned ever made with the Duck fat washed Bourbon, My son assures me the Mai Tai is magnificent. They spoil yiu with any modifications or creations just for you and to please your palate. The perfect stop to unwind after your day a gem this ones a diamond in the ruff. Cheers !!!

Went here for some pre-dinner cocktails on a Wednesday night and had a lovely experience with bartender James. Would absolutely come here again! The flavours of the cocktails were vibrant. We tried several and they were all delicious. Menu had several seasonal options that were quite interesting and good!

Wow! I can’t believe I had not discovered this place sooner! Definitely go! It is a hidden gem! I am going to tell everyone about it and I’m going to bring everyone there! What a fun place! The ambiance was amazing and the wine selection was amazing and the music was amazing everything was just amazing! So so much fun! Live music two areas to experience it just felt like hole in the wall that was unlike any other I felt like I was in New York City or in Chicago! Definitely going back again and again!

Would never have guessed that the best Mai Tai I’ve ever had would be served in the back of a liquor store in a retro four-years-old, not-quite-speakeasy in Sarasota, Florida. I’ve had Mai Tais in Hawaii, San Francisco, Huntington Beach, Los Angeles, Caribbean islands, cruise shops and abroad…
The fresh bruised mint aroma piqued my senses follwed by a perfectly balanced Goldilocks Mai Tai – all the rum and citrus, and a hint of syrup. Mmmmmm….
And dont get me started on the Monkey Business with banana liquor whipped cream!

James blows our mind every single time! A cocktail bar in The back of the liquor store that has the essence and feel of a high-end cocktail bar in an aquarium With the best bartenders in the this is dive cocktail bar. Walk through the back of the liquor store into the freezer door area and be transformed into the coolest dive bar you’ve ever been to. The drinks are exceptional and very well thought of, creative and interesting. Lead bartender James is an innovator.
