Upon walking in, the atmosphere is live and nice and everyone having a good time.. they def have the service and atmosphere down pact but the food was like not all the way there like i was expecting.. the pretzel stick appetizer was amazing we loved it.. the french fries were good quality as well. The detroit pizza was def lacking cook.. mine was kinda undercooked and didnt hit the spot like i wanted at all.. the smoked wings were good but not tender enough for being smoked.. the sauces for all the smoked meats were great for sure.. the last thing we had was the mac and cheese, it was horrible.. looks gourmet but in reality tasted like straight up velveeta and shells from the grocery store it was horrible.. even for a kid. I want to come back to try other things because you can tell that when on point the foods gotta be good.. but the pizza did not make me a believer which is what lead me there in the first place.

Had a great experience at District 37 Kitchen Restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious and well prepared. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy, which is always a good sign, but the staff handled the crowd well and everything moved along smoothly. The atmosphere was lively and comfortable, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, a very solid spot that we’d be happy to visit again.

This was my second time coming to District 37. This time with my fiancé, and a friend. The food is SO good!

My fiancé got the nachos and they tasted great. You just have to know in advance that they are massive. He ate half of it and had a mostly full box of leftovers.

Both my fiance and friend had a burger and they enjoyed the bread and how it was cooked. Juicy with a lot of flavor.

I had the apple pecan salad and it had great balance of veggies and dressing. Nothing was soaking or swimming dressing. Loved the candied pecans!! And the size of the salad was just right. The Thai Brussel Sprouts are awesome, the added mint is a great compliment to the Thai sauce.

Other positives to the restaurant:
-love the heat panels on the patio
-the wide selection of on tap beer looked great (didn’t try any this time)
-the space is very clean

The only critiques we had were the water (with and without ice) had a metallic taste to it. I asked the waitress if it was filtered and she said no. It was just a little strange to us. And I ordered a side of ranch dressing for my salad, which was an additional $2.00 (I am guessing they charged me because I had both the apple cider dressing and the ranch, but I thought $2.00 was a little expensive).

We highly recommend this place!!!

Stopped in here while traveling for work. Atmosphere was a bit noisy but expedite for a tap house. The food was great. I had the texas burger and it was cooked perfectly. The BBQ sauce wasn’t over powering and the onions were crispy.

We also got the Cuban Cigars appetizer. This was interesting and I’m not sure how I felt about it. It was god, but interesting, worth a try if you like bacon.

All in all, I will probably be back, mostly because the pizza looked amazing and i want to try it.

I don’t leave reviews often, but we had such a phenomenal experience, I just had to. The picture of the Smokehouse Rib sandwich with the garlic pesto aioli to dip the fries in speaks for itself.

I’m not sure what I was more impressed with, the food or the service!! Quality food makes a restaurant good, but quality staff on top of that is what makes a restaurant great. This was one of the best meals and dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Hats off to the kitchen, and our server Ryan! This will become a regular spot of ours.

Pretty sad to share this because I want to love this place, I really do. Today, I ordered the Texas Two Step burger and pickle fries while my husband got the sunrise sizzler to go. I traveled 20 minutes to and 20 minutes from to get the food. Once I got home to eat it, the bacon on both mine and my husband’s burgers were not cooked (we had to cook the bacon before consuming our burgers). Contrary to the bacon not being cooked, my burger was ordered “no pink” and the bottom was burnt. To add to that, there was maybe a 1/4 tsp of bbq sauce on a Texas burger; which was also completely disappointing especially since they make their own bbq sauce. 🙁

I will give credit where credit is due, the pickle fries were fantastic along with the avocado ranch sauce (I think that’s what keeps me wanting to like District 37). Last time we ordered to go, my husband got a burger with no bun when the receipt said no mayo. When I called and spoke to the owner or manager (I can’t recall) he did try to justify the kitchens mistake but also kindly compensated the burger.

Overall, I understand the establishment is always pretty busy, it just always seems like the food is made rushed. The fries are always luke warm like they made a huge batch of fries and portioned them before the meals were ready. And they are unseasoned.

The owner or manager was standing by the door and thanked me for my business which was very much appreciated. I wish they took as much time to make the food properly as they did being so kind and courteous. I still would come back for the pickles fries. Pretty unbeatable.

Went here for apps and the Bills Game. Great crowd, food was perfect. Try the Cuban Cigars and the Detroit Pizza!!! They also offer heated igloos for reservation if you want a quieter spot.

Oh boy, we were excited to give this a try because we love supporting local. We were beyond disappointed. We were really hoping this would be something new and unique yet it just fits the bill for the all the same spots popping up everywhere. Overpriced food, a book of craft beers/drinks and a mediocre experience. It looks the same as everywhere else on the inside too. It’s a mini Woodcock brewery lol. We ordered two entrees and my boyfriend requested no pickle, it came out with 3 pickles, 2 on the sandwich and one on the side. Like that’s a really simple request to not follow especially when we’re paying $22 for a burger that also comes with no lettuce, no tomato, no onion, literally no toppings. I got a veggie burger for $22.00 with cold, unsalted fries and a patty that crumbled when you picked up and literally not a thing more. We WANT to support local, we WANTED to love it, but you need to give people soemthing to love. We’ll stick to little old school places because the minimal $20.00 entrees and hip craft beer places popping up all over are just so not worth the time and money! Someone bring something unique to the Tonawanda’s, we’re in desperate need of it! But since I hate not adding anything postive because I’m trying really hard to, the sirracha bbq sauce is really good! There’s that!

Wow, what a cool place. I got a smoked turkey club and my hubby got smoked wings. We also ordered fried pickles to share. Everything was great. They also have multiple sauces on the table which were fun to try. The service was great and the prices really reasonable. Definitely will return.

Started out with the Cuban Cigars. They were good but all 3 of us who shared agreed that they were incredibly dry and absolutely need the sauce.

Our party of 8 enjoyed our drinks and meals with the exception that one female in our group complained that her water tasted strongly of soap, so I tried it and it did indeed. It was undrinkable – bad. Told the server (who was a good server) but she seemed indifferent and basically ignored that feedback.

One person in our party, a child, can’t eat cheese, and they brought out her sliders with cheese on it, even though we specified. The poor girl sat there eating fries, we were almost all done by the time she got her refire.

My burger was good but only after I added salt and pepper, otherwise, even with the bacon jam, onions etc on it, it was so bland. I should clarify I am not one of those people who salts their food (I often add a dash of pepper). I got it pink and it was cooked perfectly, just not seasoned, at all. The bacon jam was good!

Dining experience: where we sat, we saw a heavy amount of staff just kind of hanging around our table (right near the kitchen). It was a bit awkward, lots of meandering.

However, it’s a nice spot, the parking kinda stinks, the intersection seems extremely dangerous. The prices are a little high but expected for the canal front area, I suppose. It’s a good addition and better than dockside. Remington is in a different league.

A welcomed pub style! Hope it continues to get business!
