Overall I think the food is good and tasty, though I’m not entirely convinced the price tag is worth it as the portions are small. Lineup was considerable but they bring out chai tea to the waiting customers. As I don’t recall the specific dish names, it’ll be a bit generic. Shrimp: dry but flavourful. Okra fries: well seasoned, crispy. Baked rice: average. Chicken curry: rich, recommended. Salad: not very impressive.

I visited Dishoom around 16:00 and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the experience was, no booking required and no waiting at all, which was a big plus.

The service was exceptional. Staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the meal, which really elevated the overall experience.

As for the food, it was generally average. Some dishes were enjoyable, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Unfortunately, the salad was disappointing and didn’t match the quality or flavour of the other items on the table.

Overall, Dishoom delivered excellent service and a relaxed dining experience, but the food itself felt hit-or-miss. Worth visiting for the service and convenience, though the menu could be more consistent.

We visited Dasham for a meal, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. The ambience is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor adds to the overall charm of the place.

We ordered chola poori halwa, Parsi omelette, and qeema, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. One of the highlights of our visit was the bottomless tea, which was especially comforting and perfect for the winter season.

The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The place does get a bit crowded, so making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.

Overall, Dasham offers great food, a lovely ambience, and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dishoom Covent Garden, from the very first moment we arrived.

We were welcomed incredibly warmly by the hostess at the door and let in very quickly, which already set the tone for a great evening. Another hostess then escorted us to our table with so much kindness and care — we immediately felt genuinely welcome.

Our waitress, Naima, was truly outstanding. She explained the menu in such a clear, engaging, and structured way that, as a Learning Manager myself, I couldn’t help but admire her approach. It was thoughtful, accessible, and engaging — the kind of explanation that makes you feel confident, curious, and excited about your choices. I honestly found myself thinking how lucky any team would be to have someone like her. She went above and beyond throughout the entire meal, making our experience feel personal, warm, and perfectly tailored to us.

We also had the pleasure of briefly speaking with Piotr, the manager on shift, who was equally caring, present, and genuinely engaged. Both Naima and Piotr represented the values and spirit of Dishoom beautifully.

What truly stayed with me after our visit is the feeling that we mattered. Not as just another table or customer, but as individuals — people invited to enjoy and participate in the love and care that goes into the food and the experience at Dishoom.

10/10 for the food.
10/10 for the atmosphere.
And a 20/10 for the incredible staff.

Thank you for such a memorable experience — we will absolutely be back.

I usually go to this restaurant, and Dishoom never disappoints. It’s one of my favourite restaurants.

I ordered the Chilli Cheese Toast, Pau Bhaji, Okra Fries, and Vegetable Samosas, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour.

The chilli cheese toast was perfectly crispy, the pau bhaji was really tasty, the okra fries were crispy and enjoyable, and the vegetable samosas were fresh and tasty.

To finish it off, I had the Basmati Kheer with Masala Chai, which was really yummy and the perfect way to end the meal.
The atmosphere is great and the food is consistently amazing. I love coming here and would definitely recommend Dishoom.

Dishoom in London is hands down some of the best Indian food in all of Europe—so authentic, it rivals what you’d get in India. We tried the chaat, dal makhani, and paneer sabzi, all accompanied by soft, delicious naan. The flavors were outstanding, and we loved it so much, we went back the next day. Highly recommended for any Indian food lover!

We were traveling from the US and kept seeing incredible reviews about Dishoom—so we had to stop by! Even with a party of seven, with no reservation the queue moved quickly and we were seated in about 45 minutes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We especially loved the okra fries and butter chicken. The servers were extremely attentive to our allergies and very helpful with recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Had an enjoyable lunch, the first time at this Dishoom (have been to the Kensington location). I had the fish amritsari starter, which was delicious, followed by the makhmali paneer and Goan monkfish curry, with basmati rice. The paneer was well seasoned, presented and tasted so good. The monkfish curry was bursting with flavours and so satisfying. Paired the meal with Prima Alta pinot grigio, whose dry, light fruity tones worked very nicely with the Dishoom spices on the palate. Server Nikola was great: cordial, professional, attentive and efficient. My table was in the cosy glass enclosed patio (overhead heaters keeping the space warm because, winter) and the iconic Dishoom vibe of celebration, passion and fun was well in evidence. This place is minutes from many key London places-to-be: Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Leicester Square. Not surprisingly, the place was packed. I will return when next in London. Highly recommended.

Came here on a Monday morning w/ a reservation for 0930. Didn’t really need it this early. The server mentioned today was the first day of their new special, Haggis Pau. I decided to give it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. The pork Haggis paired well with the chutney and fried egg. My wife ordered the bacon and egg naan and she loved it, saying it was the best naan she’s had. Also ordered a house Chai, which I enjoyed. Subtly sweet with a spice flavor coming from the ginger. Well worth a visit here!
