Took me a while to try this place after they remodeled it, they did a great job, the atmosphere is very nice. Great special, 2 slices and a fountain drink, perfect lunch. The pizza was hot, fresh, and really good especially the pepperoni. Very nice to have a place close by to grab individual slices. Will definitely be back!

First time ordering customer service was great. The 14” cheese was on point. My deluxe pizza could have definitely been baked longer but the flavor and taste was still really good just a little soggy . The garlic knots was good could have used some fresh garlic chunks and some light salt. The pepperoni roll up was awesome. Hands down going back.

The first time here, I have heard rave reviews from many. We ordered 12″ and an 18″. The 12″ pie was fine. Unfortunately, the 18″ pie wasn’t even cut. Upon cutting the pie, the underside was black. We will NOT try again and will discourage others.
It’s not a great first impression. Back to finding another pizza pie place.
I guess you have to check everything.

03/25/2024-Update, 2nd visit based on original owners being back.
Ordered 1 XL and 1 Med. And Garlic knots.
XL Peperoni, Pineapple and 1/2 sausage pie was top notch. Not burnt at all, great flavor.
Med. Chicken Alfredo and pineapple Pie was also good, just missing the Chicken.
To be fair, I called and they said they would replace this one.
We will give them another shot.

My family ordered an 18″ pepperoni pizza with 5 spicy garlic and 5 Jamaican jerk wings for delivery. The pizza was great and we were very pleased with how great it tasted. The wings, however, seemed undercooked, had a very rubbery texture and were chewy. We took one bite of each flavor and spit it out.
I called the store to express my dissatisfaction with the wings and requested a refund as my family would not be eating them at all. The gentlemen on the other line stated the cook their wings in the oven, not a fryer, which is why they were a different texture “than what I’m used to”. I let him know they were very unappetizing and we would not be eating them. He offered a 1/2 refund. I stated again that we are not eating them, and I’d be happy to personally bring them to the store to return and show a manager. He advised he was the owner so there was no need, and then agreed to the full refund as requested.
I am still pending receipt of my refund for the wings and hope it will come through so I can leave the review as is.
TLDR; the pizza was great, the wings were not.

The food was good, but the service felt discriminatory. Even though we speak English and Spanish, we were not offered the same options as the table next to us. They were asked if they wanted dine-in or to-go, but our food was automatically packed to-go, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. Very disappointing experience.

Went in for a slice at 1 PM and the dude told me he didn’t have any what pizza shop doesn’t have slices ready to go at lunchtime wasting my time driving over there probably will never show up again I mean you advertise by the slice and you got a guy standing around in there why wouldn’t we have a pizza in the oven ready to restock during the prime hours of the day? He was real nice about letting me know. I could wait 20 minutes for a slice, but that defeats the purpose of picking up a quick slice. Guy wants to make pizza when people walk in the door weak Business model

Great hole in the wall pizza joint, handmade food, great prices .Plenty of TV’s for watching sports (can get loud) but doesn’t bother me. Stayed busy with take out people steadily coming in for food. Will try this place again

Just ordered a margarita, pizza and garlic knots. And the oil and garlic base with the garlic knots was very salty.
As it turns out the margarita pizza didn’t have red sauce unlike most margarita pizzas I’ve ever had, it also Did Not have fresh mozzarella it only had shredded mozzarella, And It came with no fresh basil.
So basically, it was a pizza with a little oil and garlic base, shredded mozzarella, and a few slices of Roma tomatoes
One of the worst pizzas I’ve had
And the garlic knots were all overcooked
When I called to discuss it, I was told that’s how we make the pizza no excuse for the garlic knots, the only thing that he admitted was that they forgot the basil
Well, that was one of the most bland uninviting pizzas I’ve had in my life, and when I asked if there was anything he could do about it, he said no that’s just how we make it.
I had considered giving it a second chance, as I have read decent reviews, but due to the attitude that I was given when I called back, that’s not ever going to happen

Finally, pizza with a crispy undercarriage! We tried this place a couple of years ago and it was just okay but we heard they have new owners so we decided to try again and what a difference. Husband & I both agree this is the best pizza we’ve had in Mount Dora since moving here. Loved the flavor on the supreme, absolutely delicious and the Cheese Pizza was SO CRISPY CRUNCHY! So happy to have such yummy pizza near home.
